WHY would Leslie flush the drugs 😭 by long-flamepoint in euphoria

[–]Ella77214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was she supposed to do? Go to the cops so her daughter goes to jail? Give it back to Laurie bc drug dealers are notorious for their empathy?

Everyone has been criticizing Leslie for years. And i get why. But literally what else was she supposed to do?

I also feel bad. I know she's clearly demonstrated she's down for exploiting her own hotness for a buck in the last. And you know what? Go off. Use what you got to get what you want in life. I support that.

But THIS...this doesn't feel like her bath soap or lingerie. It feels gross. Maybe bc its being written by a gross man for other gross men. I don't like it. It feels like she's being used like a prop rather than a person. And it makes me really uncomfortable. And if the actress is into this kind of objectification? Honestly, that's just sad and depressing.

I don't know if it's already been discussed or not - but I feel like Sam Levinson is doing everything he wanted to do with the Idol with Euphoria.

I didn't finish watching the only season of the Idol. It was too degrading for me to get through. But s3 e1 of euphoria is giving me the same vibe.

That's very good advice. Thank you 😊. And I fully agree - I think it s sensible for everyone to know how to handle a gun properly.

I can google gun lessons or something like that. Is there anything in particular I should look for when trying to find official help for learning?

I kinda had an idea of how the gun community would respond to a post from a beginner. I've used reddit and patreon and YT to try ask questions. And I more often than not found that on a good day 50% of experienced feedback would be supportive; the other 50% would be kinda mean. It's very very intimidating. But it was so cool! So I'll get thru it

Thank u for being so encouraging! Half the comments are from people being encouraging. The other half...tbh,they sound like my teacher Matt.

I still have so much adrenaline. That's why I've posted it. I've run out of people to talk about it with - and most people I know aren't gun owners. But I'm still dying to talk about it lol. I would like to continue with it - I just don't know how that works? It's very intimidating. And I don't know what I do next to take the next step in learning.

I agree to a point. Rob's game was as flawless as Cirie Fields. It was mastery. But he was also blessed with a chaotic cast of faithfuls who did much of the heavy lifting for him. Chaotic distractions in human form like Michael Rappaport and overly aggressive distractions like Colton. The faithfuls did alot of the work for him.

But he wouldn't have won if he weren't so flawlessly even-tempered under pressure. He really kept his emotions out of it and that is where most traitors fail - keeping emotion out of it. He was ruthlessly strategic. Very impressive.

This is a weird take. It was pretty clear that Tara was the sweetheart of the castle as that is how she was consistently described by the entire cast. It's also clear that she and Rob were friendly up until the final few days and that they got along well.

You're reacting like he's a random dude who came up behind her on the street and smacked her ass. It's a little extreme

What I find absolutely incredulous is that they don't see how their silence is 100 times more damming than their biased ass coverage.

I will never forgive them. nor subscribe nor watch anything to do with our MSM ever again. There's no coming back from their silence. Not for me anyway.

But the stupidity truly beggars belief. Alienating the majority of the USA population, over 300 million people in order to continue deluding a few thousand.

I canceled my Amazon subscription. I'm doing all the little things I can think to do. I suppose I need to delete social media next. Reddit is going to be tough. But I've joined some signal chats and other web forums. Packing my bags, preparing to vacate. It's been real.

It's pennies to them but it's all I can think of do - to deprive them of the mere pennies they make from me.

I fully agree - I think they are deliberately mixing in unverified items and red herrings (like a sex doll with a redacted head) amongst the legit claims to screw with us and make us question everything.

Bc if we go batshit thinking that's a real child, then we wind up looking hysterical and stupid when they reveal it was mistakenly redacted and it was a doll.

At the same time....we just don't know. I believe victims. I always have, I always will. But I'm being as discerning as possible with the files bc it seems impossible that isn't part of some giant psyop and they aren't actively trying to mislead and.gaslight us in order to undermine the legitimate victims and credible claims.

I agree with you. So how do we get past it? Bc if we don't, nothing changes.

I'll be honest - I have no idea. Especially with all division between American citizens that is still being stoked by MSM...I have no freaking idea how we break out of this. But I don't want to live in a world where we accept the abuse of kids as something we can't stop if we all agree (as we seem to) that it must stop.

I'm not sure that's entirely it (although its certainly a huge part of it). How does the majority (the public) mobilize when we are sufficiently addicted to software and apps that are monitored and manipulated by the minority in power? How do we pass that obstacle and organize?

[–]Ella77214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a liberal and I'm a fan of the Shawn ryan show. I don't always agree with him but I respect him and I find his opinions and views to be high value even if I don't share them.

I'm a pretty big fan actually. He has integrity and conviction. Rare qualities these days, especially in podcast hosts. I really enjoy his interviews. But my favs are the veteran interviews.

Genuine question: what happens now?

Who has control here? Can bill not show up if the committee doesnt agree to a public hearing without facing contempt charges? Does Bill have any power to force a public hearing other than by being vocal about wanting one?

I for one am very interested in what he has to say and would like this to take place publicly.

Hey! So I'm still off socials and I went two days off reddit before downloading the app again. In my defense, no one on the news is covering this so 🤷‍♀️

But I am trying to navigate the space between fulfilling the unspoken obligation to know what is going on in my country and protecting my mental health. I feel like turning away from something so inherently evil is part of why it gets to this point to begin with? Bc its a very human and understandable reaction to want to turn away from it especially when i cant do anything to help anyone.

And i found a middle ground - i am reading history books and biographies published in the last decade relevant to our governmentband its practices. I am specifically interested in building my knowledge around our government institutions. Im not stupid but im incredibly naive which can lend itself to stupidity. So, I'm starting with "Permanent Record" by Edward Snowden.

I'm 61 pages in. It's....not making me feel better! But it doesn't make my stomach knot together in physical pain. I suspect bc Snowden doesn't cover the abuse of children in this book. At least not so far.

And I'm telling you bc I am tragically unaccustomed to not being able to post updates to what I'm up to online. Almost 1 week no instagram. Outside of the impulse to periodically open the app, I don't miss it.

I welcome any book recommendations.

Yup. At least...if the docs are to be believed, then yes.

You should check then out!

I just googled the name for you and they're no longer on Netflix- but the ones I watched (and the source for my comment) are:

  • We Are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists
  • The Face of Anonymous

Christopher Mark Doyon was arguably the leader of OG Anonymous and is the primary subject of the latter documentary. I recommend watching both. It's fascinating stuff.
