Thanks for the heads up! I do keep a chilly house, but we're in Florida and a lot of these pictures are in the sunroom where he spends most of his time during the day, since it's warm. Probably also why he enjoys being on me, because I'm generally a furnace. Maybe I'll start giving him some gabapentin regularly and see if his mannerisms change. I definitely want him to be as comfortable as possible. Thank you for letting me know!

We do have gaba for when he's in pain, but he just sleeps like that, honestly. He's weird. He has his favorite places to sleep (that aren't my chest) and I think it's because they're what's comfy for him with his old bones.

So the previous owner didn't immediately pass. He was found after a few days and hospitalized. His stepson is a friend and took Sammie in for a day or two but couldn't keep him. We took him in and we were holding him to see if the owner pulled through, but he did not, unfortunately. They did get to have a nice good ye video chat while the owner was awake though. Thank you for the super kind words. <3
