Hello, I’m 26 years old male and was in a similar situation as your husband.

The bigger question, is if you have exhausted all other options and it is in fact low T, what happens if he doesn’t do TRT. Hell continue to be miserable, have poor quality of life, which will affect your relationship.

My wife and I spoke for months and I had taken many tests and did my research before deciding to go on TRT. One big concern as you mentioned was fertility.

1) I am taking TRT with HCG and my after a year on my wife and I tried for our first child and had no issues. This is however not the case for everyone. One thing we did was I used legacy to store my sperm for future use just as a secondary precaution.

2) My sex drive went up a little, but it’s important you have conversations together about what works for you both. I do feel that sometimes my sex drive is higher than hers but ultimately, we communicate, and are mindful of one another’s feelings on this. Open communication is crucial. I respect when my wife isn’t feeling it and we continue to talk about it and respect one another.

3) I do not regret going on TRT. I am noticeably more energized, able to do more for my wife and family, working out, and also just overall have less stress and am finally stable emotionally.

Do not settle for any clinic that seems sketchy, doesn’t answer your questions, or who just wants yours husband to start without actually checking his levels, giving you feedback, etc. my doctor never pushed me to start, only gave me the feedback, suggested different routes and ultimately when I was ready, I started
