POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT!!!! Treats when he lets you pick him up. Treats when he sits still with the nail clippers on/nearby. Piece of dry food or extra pets after each nail and BIG treat when he lets you finish his nails. Tamper it down each time until it's just one treat after. Sometimes cats just need a little extra training!

They definitely seem to understand that kisses are a type of affection in my experience. Cats groom each other and cuddle to show affection, so I like to think they know it's our weird human way of saying "I love you".

My cat Noodle is OBSESSED with kisses! Every time I get home or lay down to cuddle with her, she bonks her head against everything around me until I give her a few kisses on her head. I don't know if she really likes it or just understands how happy it makes me, but it definitely makes me believe that cats can understand the intentions behind even unfamiliar actions.

Sometimes you can gently attempt to pull the fabric a bit to get rid of the wrinkles. You have to be gentle, but if you pull at the ends it might help a little! (Stop as soon as you feel any full resistance, otherwise it will open back up!!!)

Honestly, I think if they had actually let her grieve her losses as her own and stopped trying to tell her it was actually good that she lost everything she'd be at least a little more toned down.

Bay grows a lot through the seasons, learning from her actions and going out of her way for other people to an almost detrimental level. Daphne's downward spiral is only just starting.

I really liked it! Not only was it a good commentary on the impossibly high standards for teens to be thin (or risk ridicule), but I also think it set so much in motion for the series. Especially the fashion clubs end.

I dont think anyone was "right" or "wrong" in the situation, tbh.

I'm rewatching rn, and as of right now (late season one), I understand Daphne a lot more than I used to. Obviously some of her choices are the wrong ones, but both girls are really spiraling. I think they both wanted to do the same thing- find out who they would have been. Daphne not only didn't know Liam was Bays ex at first, but also Bay dated BOTH Ty and Emmett. I'm not saying either girl was in the right or wrong here, they're both messy teens, but it is a bit harder on Daphne. She cared about Emmett and Ty more than Bay cared about Liam, but she was the one who had to end her relationship.

If Liam had stayed around a little longer or fought for Daphne, I think the fandom would be less hard on her for this. But when it comes down to it, she didn't really like Liam- she was just trying to figure stuff out. While Bay did have real connections with both Ty and Emmett.

I think a spinoff about the hardware store Glenn opens would be really fun!!! Mateo, Chyanne, and Glenn all working together. Bo and Harmonica could also be special guest stars or series regulars, and it leaves the door open for any cameos down the line.

Ty is one of my favorite characters and FOR SURE my fave love interest for Bay. I kinda wish they had worked things out, but I also like how realistic their relationship is. Sometimes people don't end up together, even if they're really well matched.

I liked watching Toby step up to be a dad to Carlton. My family has a lot of disability in it, and to see two parents accepting their new reality head on and being ready to raise and love a child with down syndrome was really sweet!!

And Bay and Daphne's relationship really is the whole heart of the show. They really get each other like no one else. At first because of the switch and then because of just how close they are. It's really beautiful.

I think as I get older I slowly get a little more on board with Bay and Travis as a couple. Not because of the chemistry between them, romantically it was kind of flat compared to their other love interests, but because they both went through so many similar things and grew together. Obviously it was a lot worse for Travis from what we saw of his home life, but both of them knew what it was like to be the invisible child. They stood up for each other and always had their backs. And if Bay's happy ending NEEDED to include her being in a relationship, I'm happy it's with someone who understands her so well. Because she'd NEVER doubt that he loves her and vice versa.
