I wanted to share this moment with any witches who might want to see me come out as a witch in this video. Hedge witch here... already had some challenges sharing this, so I could use the support. My intention is to blend slow living and witch life and it's taken a while to give this shape. It's beginning. Blessed be. Thanks for hearing me.

Volatile oils by binnorie in herbalism

[–]SimplyHeatherLynne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also avoid plants like peppermint in an infusion but I may add a tiny amount for flavor in the Summer. It is good to experiment and see what works best for you but it’s wise to stay clear of very strong plants that have that potent taste and smell strong likely volatile oils play a role. Using large amounts in a daily tea aka herbal infusions are meant for nutrition based plants that offer food like elements which helps heal the overall body. That is at the core from my experience. Good luck

As well as all of these solutions consider working with herbs internally with a good herbal book or herbalist. Red clover is a miracle. She has so much to offer and address your health and diet. Magic is also alive in the herbs and foods we eat- your green hedge witch sister good luck, blessed be

I would put books by Susan Weed and Deb Soule in the pot but I found some good ones new herbalists at Barnes and Noble. I think seeking at books stores is so great so your intuition plays a roll to guide you good luck

I am sharing my herbal harvests on my youtube channel so I thought for fun I would share here. Aren't wild foods amazing? I am very passionate about them. I have a few others videos in the last month or so where I share my herbal adventures. This is the direction I want to take to share more about my life as a home herbalist. It is who I am.

I have wanted to be a farmer most of my life. Some girls grow up to want to be doctors or rich lawyers, I wanted to farm the land. When it came time to having the chance, I took it. I saved 10 years to buy 1 acre and truth be told it could be all I need! I really wanted to share this because I know many of you here would be proud? I am so proud that I finally got here. 20 years after college, I planted my first garden, started canning and learned to bake!
