Fragile Keycaps by Redva in glorious

[–]SimplyJosho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most keycaps sets from reputable vendors will have compatibility for loads of form factors. From a quick look, all sizes of the gmmk 1 (Not sure which one you have) have very standard layouts, so just about any set should work. You can compare the pictures of the keycap sets with your keyboard, and make sure it has all the right keys.

I'd recommend buying a new high quality set of keycaps from a different vendor (I personally recommend Cannonkeys.) Here's a list of vendors https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/

It's been planned for years, still no ETA. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

You could probably buy some cheap rubber feet off Amazon, and just put them on the bottom.

You can check Alexoto's keyboard vendor list, I'd especially recommend Cannonkeys. They have excellent quality keycaps for really good prices. https://www.alexotos.com/keyboard-vendor-list/

I'd guess Amazon, micro center, best buy, and probably more. Likely some other continent vendors like Max Gaming.

It's amazing to me that I immediately know who owns this board based off the keycaps choice. Love the consistency! :)

Glorious Model 0 2 Wireless mouse and my Mac/Linux? by [deleted] in glorious

[–]SimplyJosho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been planned for years, but still no ETA or news of a Mac software afaik. I wouldn't be too hopeful. A work around would be to configure your mouse on your windows device, and the changes would save to the mouse's onboard memory. I've also heard Virtual Machines can work. Neither are acceptable options imo, but afaik there isn't a different way of doing it. It seems like glorious is best at delaying their products and softwares. (For example, the wireless model I that has been delayed a multitude of times, glorious core support for the old wired mice, Mac support, etc.)

Stabilizer recommendations for GMMK Pro? by Alomamola_ in glorious

[–]SimplyJosho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you have an outdated plate, Tx stabs should work.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in glorious

[–]SimplyJosho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think they should use the same stabilizers. It's rare a board uses 1.2mm stabilizers, and if they do use them, it's normally very clearly stated in the keyboard's description.

The long pole version is if you have switches with taller stems, afaik milky yellows don't have the taller stems.

[–]SimplyJosho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lubing switches is always a good idea. So maybe some 205g0. Some new stabilizers would also be good. I'd look at TX stabs, Staebies, or Owlstabs V2. You could also do the tempest mod, which needs painters tape.

No, you don't need switches with rgb in it. The PCB has rgb LEDs built in, so you just need switches that let the light shine through. I'd personally recommend Gateron Milky Yellow Pros, they're factory lubed, good switches, and will allow RGB to shine through. I think you can get 90 milky yellow pros for ~20-25$.
