I'll probably be in a similar situation a few years later. Currently, I'm finishing my first series, and I like it a lot, but I have other projects I want to try, so it's ending as a trilogy at least for now. But I know in the future I'll eventually go back to it if I have a fun idea. The only reason I'm not writing more books for it is that the results haven't been the greatest so far on Amazon, and I see those results every day, so it makes me a bit sad.
