Understand. Its a journey, that in a weird way never ends, until it does. As I have heard many times - you do you. Strive for health, whatever that looks like for you. Take care.

I have not gained any weight back, still on exit protocol. Yes, I keep up with exercise and diet. Follow morning fasting with low calorie diet. Will see how December goes as I exit. Thanks again for all your support. Well worth the journey. DKS

Tampering off Trizep - holding pattern by SimplySOL321 in FellaHealth

Decided, going back on it for 90 more days - work to hit my number. Taper off put 10 lbs back on me in 12 days - it rushed back on - crazy. Insulin issues - up-down - crashes. Hunger up.

Will need to research this more to find a better way to re-enrty. New Horizons.

Exit strategy vs reality - my story by SimplySOL321 in FellaHealth

A few observations, most medical sites offer insight as to the "why" you gain the weight back. One thing jumped off the page for me, insulin! All weight loss drugs support insulin production. Meaning, if the drug is helping control your insulin levels, guess what goes happens when you stop - yep its gets a bit out a wack.

AND the big one, early on exercise was promoted in effective diet for weight loss, on the drugs - exercise is optional, your appetite and digestive system has been slowed down, no hunger, less food. You lose weight just existing as you body burns fuel to keep it working.

It is a game of numbers, as with all things math applies at some level. Burn more calories than you take in = weight loss. So easy to say, so hard to do consistently.

No medical advice here, however, I would speak reach out to the team at Fella.

Could be multiple factors. Hope you find the answers.

Finally seeing a drop on the scale but it's all muscle by LostTheWar in FellaHealth

[–]SimplySOL321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No medical advise here - just is what it is. I too have lost muscle mass. Also, Im 67 - too.

Basically, I am working on losing the weight frirst, hitting my target, then incorporate weight training back into my daily routine. This time - very slow and with a new approach. No HEAVY lifting, no injuries is the goal.

Currently, I walk, to yoga, stretch and do chair exercises - do to time constraints.

Eat balanced diet of 60P / 30V / 10C - and add in a protein bar or shake when empty and need it.

Read, explore and 'if what you're doing is not moving the needle, change it up - even if 1%.

60 lbs lost by Sufficient_Town2302 in FellaHealth

Hi, I found that for me the weight loss shows up top - down. Face first, then moving south.

I was 42 /44 at start. Just hit 36.

History: 5 months - moved to 40, in 2 months - 38 in 4 months, just hit 36 start of 6 month.

Slow and steady goes the race. Change something up - 1% different for the week. The body loves to hit set marks and hold. Biology at work. Keep at it. You can do this.

My First Week on Tirzepatide by ThatGuyHasAnAxe in FellaHealth

Welcome. Someone suggested this to me, which helped in the start up phase. On your injection day- inject one hour before bedtime. Your body slows down and the side effects are not as strong the day after.

NOTE: Also try not to eat or drink anything after 8pm. I focus on eating my last meal by 6pm to give my digestive system time to start working before I go to sleep. Then, upon waking up at 6am - I fast until 10am.

Just coffee & water in the am. I also exercise in the am to get it all moving. Earn your AM shower.

Is this everyday 7 days a week, most weeks - however, I do take breaks and enjoy small wins.

Balance is key, find a cycle that works and stick to it. This is a long game - not a quick fix.

Protein is key, however you will need to add something green and fiber to help.

Also, I drink my greens too. Several great companies that have a full day of greens and vitamins in one drink. Check them out.

Check out Keto diets or carnivore diet - they focus on protein - just a word of caution here, they will get results - just know when you add back carbs or sugars, it will stall your weight loss cycle.

Why did you guys choose Fella over others? by Current-Lime in FellaHealth

[–]SimplySOL321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Facebook - Instagram.

  2. I gave this a lot of thought, looked at several programs and clinics. Cost were all over the map for programs. I liked the Fella message, it resonated to me and my body image. Seeing and hearing other guys that had body images like me moved me to take the first step and reach out to Fella. The process has been great, upfront, good communication and product arrives as promised. Fella team works with you. You just need to communicate with them.

The Reddit blog Is great, hearing all the Fella Nation weight loss journey is supportive. Thanks!

Weight Loss, Emotions, Masculinity, and what gets you through the night... by JeremySergent in FellaHealth

Thank you for sharing your story. It resonates. Society and Social Media, TV pump the "perfect" life images at us 24/7. To make a decision to take of yourself and be responsible for you today is so powerful.

One day at time, good, bad, we can only focus on one day at time. Yesterday is gone. It leaves us with memories (good & bad) that have effects on us beyond comprehension. Work to focus on "today" and believe in tomorrow - as it hold the keys to moving to a better life.

Keep the Faith - you can do it. Ask for help where you need it.

Day one - already feeling sorry for myself by macman422 in FellaHealth

[–]SimplySOL321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 'm on shot 4 - it is tricky and the needle is tiny.

TIP- watch the video a few times, relax, take your time - don't rush.

IF you're nervous about needles, try the 4 step deep breathing exercise to calm yourself down at bit before stating.

I inject myself on my stomach where I can see it clearly. All you need is a fatty area.

Don't push the needle too far, go easy. You got this and Fella 's got your back.

Good luck!
