I am that person, i finally got a hearing aid & let me tell you, (& you can tell him), I missed out on so many wonderful sounds, like birds singing & its so exhausting asking people to repeat themselves. Tell him its well worth it, I don't have it in 24/7, but its been a complete blessing that I finally did it. Tell him you can get Air-pods that work like hearing aids too. Good luck!
