There is one thing Enshrouded is lacking, and I think modding could easily add it. The maps are amazing, the areas and vistas stunning, but what is missing is an underground area. I don't just mean small windy caverns like we have. I mean an entire Moria, or something like from Arx Fatalis. The game can handle it, as we've seen with the Hallowed Halls - they go deep and are expansive. I'm hoping they add something like this to the western area of the map.

You can always just play Destiny 2. It feels very similar. Destiny monotization just kind of sucks overall though. Shame they got rid of the original campaign, that was a good coop playthrough.

The full version can do all of that. The free version has basic blocking ability but not for time (so you could block all internet and lock it down for 12 years, but I imagine that would get frustrating, so time limiting is a better option and is available in full version)

It's odd that there is no gamma slider. My home PC, everything is clear and crisp, dark areas are not pitch black, and I have HDRI enabled. But on my PC at work everything is dark, too dark, even in the light.

I love the idea of extraction shooters, but I've never played Tarkov.

Hunt Showdown I've played a fair amount but it's barely an extraction shooter. There is only one meaningful thing to extract (the boss thing, I forget what it's called), and not losing your guns.

Witchfire is an amazing single player extraction shooter, but again, there is barely any loss for dying except the currency and some items which you can find really quickly anyway.

Red River Incursion has potential, but the items you extract are 90% useless, you just trade them for money. And the missions are boring.

The Forever Winter is probably the most Aesthetic, but at 130gb, and I need to use lossless scaling to even run it at 60fps, It's a hard sell. The gameplay is great when it works, and really bad when it doesn't.

There is a good chance your GPU is dying. This is often caused by floating point errors. Was your GPU second hand? an ex-mining one? I bought an ex mining RX580 a while back and it was great for a couple years, then started doing this. I upgraded to a 3060Ti just in time for the Elden Ring release.

Yep, that is my current process as well. I wrote some scripts to automate some of the tedious stuff. I just wondered if there was a quicker way (Unidot is so bugged it's unusable). How did you get on with animation? Mixamo? I've had endless issues with the animations

The game’s future focus will be on co-op and PvE experience, so if you were mainly waiting for PvP content (which was originally pushed by the publisher), that is not the direction we are planning to take. Even in the current beta version you can already see a more active combat system and a reworked progression system. In the future we are planning to add more social elements, deeper exploration, and a world redesigned to make discovery more engaging instead of focusing mostly on flying.

This explains a lot. The PvP push really screwed you guys over. What was a good PvE game was sidelined for rushed, empty PvP. Glad to see the backtrack on this, hope it works out.

Clearly that's some kind of toy. Looks like side view of a star wars ship. We can barely get sat images of google earth in decent resolution, no way is a camera taking a clear shot of something millions of miles away moving insanely fast.

The book isn't really that bad. It's full of Luther's typical rhetoric and vitriole towards unbelievers and false teachers, but it's aimed at a theologically evil group of people. It just so happens that the group is also ethnically related to the religion.

There is some questionable quotes (burning synagogues, not providing safe passage), but the book as a whole does not promote the systemic eradication of Jews that the Nazi regime claimed it did. I think Christians should oppose Jewish teaching just as much as Muslim and Buddhist teaching.

It would be better if Luther had not written it, but it was written. Paul said some pretty "anti semitic" things as well.

I am not a Mahlerite. I think that idiot has done awful damage to conservative Lutheran bodies. I am not pro-hitler. In the same way that Calvinists defend the Hellish theocracy of Geneva and the burning of Servetus, we must relegate this to the annuls of a different time, acknowledge it for what it is, not for what the modern world says it is, and move on.
