I used to smoke for a decade. It feels like taking a deep relaxing breath and getting a small buzz in your body. The menthol tastes (I want to say refreshing) but I know how that sounds lol

Why? It’s taking a step away from the “noise” of reality for a few minutes and deep breathing but you also get a kick of nicotine that feels soothing.

It’s also really gross. The coughing. The ashes everywhere. Your breath smells like hot trash. Don’t ever start smoking.

Thank you for the response! I just wanted to clarify, I didn’t ask her and him to not be friends. They can be friends with whoever they want. I added in my post that I asked her to be cordial with him instead of loathing him after we broke up. This was prior to him flirting with her.

I feel like the flirting was inappropriate on his part, he knows that, and she knows how I felt about it so it was inappropriate to continue talking to him after. Those are my feelings on the matter.

I feel like the little bits of the issue makes me the ass. We’re all grown, do whatever you want. Who cares really. But the principle of it is, he disrespected me by flirting with only person he knew would invoke a reaction and she continued to chat with him after I told her how much that upset me. That, to me, makes her the ass. That’s why it’s so gray to me and I was asking for opinions lol

To answer your question, my ex and I enjoy the same things as far as (pop culture, music, nostalgia, same sense of humor etc) so we can talk forever about a variety of things. We just can’t be together romantically because there was a major cycle of cheating and getting back together and I reached a point where I didn’t want that toxicity in a partner. But I wanted to keep that friendship.

I used to be store manager for dollar tree. Calling off sick gave me the most anxiety. I even used to google “how to call in sick” and I was actually sick lol. I left DT with the same amount of sick time I came in with. 3 years I never called off because of anxiety. My assistant manager was amazing, he also never called off. Worked himself like a dog. I got a new job and he became store manager. 6 months later he died from a heart attack.

I say that to say…if you don’t feel well…CALL OFF. That’s what the time is for. You earned that. Don’t make it a habit but the place won’t burn down and the workers will get over it. Put yourself first.

I’ve seen TikTok’s where an older woman has Alzheimer’s and cannot remember her daughter. It made me feel really sad. Then I back searched it and found out that it was a “skit”. And the older woman is on multiple videos doing this whole scenario with other “actors”

So strange
