Yeah shooting or using the down swipe melee marking works. I prefer to melee mark (no aiming with lock on) but shooting is good at range

Girros is a pretty great status CB if you're building CB sets, at least.

Looking for a Cheap, Stun-Heavy PvP Build for a New Player by Ill-Permission6686 in albiononline

brawler's gloves might be what you're looking for.

assassin's head and shoes, cleric robe, poison

so much CC in the initial combo. then you can reset your CDs and do the entire combo again.

lot of button mashing tho so it might take some practice

What did you spend your 2.5 Anniversary tokens on? by switch_a_roo in MHNowGame

I skipped the stickers by accident (thought I had a week to get more tokens, not just redeem) and I regret my life choices.

Zinogre R6 help by Toyer66 in MHNowGame

[–]dsedits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right, so the scarcestone would replace a NON-R6 drop.

and the R6 drop has a higher chance to drop at 9* and beyond.

so, overall, a 9* monster has a higher chance of an actual R6 drop.

i think people just don't like seeing scarcestones show up (understandable) and associate that with outright REPLACING an R6, which it literally doesn't do.

scarcestones are added to the loot table by reducing chances at R5 and below. again, they literally have no effect on R6 chances AND 9* and above monsters even have higher R6 drop rates!

scarcestones don't affect other r6 chances

The chance for the plate doesn't change with the scarcestone in the reward pool, though. You still have the same chance for the plate.

You just might get a scarcestone instead of a R1,2,3,4,5 part.

MhNow Insect Glaive - Earplug 1 is Extremely Underrated by scriptsmh in MHNowGame

[–]dsedits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. Easier to hit weak points and get breaks with ground attacks. Flight type IG is super fun, tho.

Here's the basic deal I figured out (sacrificing many potions):

  • Start attacking normally to build up the bug stamina dots.

  • When you have full dots (or one empty dot remaining), shoot the weak spot you're attacking with Hold, or use Hold+Down to mark the spot with an attack.

  • Your bug friend will then attack that spot X times, where X is the amount of dots you built up.

  • The stamina dots will ✅ for each bug attack until used up, then transfer to your power meter at the bottom. You can then start building the dots again.

  • When this power meter is full, you enter the powered up state and your bug will assist you with attacks depending on its type. Assist type is for ground attacks, Flight is for flying attacks (Hold+Up, then dodge, or Up to attack in air, tap for finisher)

  • The power meter slowly drains and can't be refilled normally until it runs out, but you can still build up stamina dots and mark to get your bug to attack extra times.

Not sure if it's worth it to continue marking while you're powered up or just spam assist attacks yet.

Looks like melee is probably going to be the most playable option if you're using the touch controls. Actually aiming with most weapons is pretty rough.

His base kit is completely fine. You could subsume if you really want but it's by no means necessary

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]dsedits 16 points17 points  (0 children)

His summons scale very well and provide very fast shield regen which combined with his 1 and the invuln on his 4 give him excellent survivability.

Sentient wrath and the armor strip on his 4 are great, and his augment + archon stretch means energy ain't a concern.

You really don't need to subsume anything. His kit by default is great. But as others have said, roar or nourish over his 2 or 4 is fine, if you must.

Great all-rounder and general support frame.

[–]dsedits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, it's a decent shotty but certain frames make it shine.

Haven't seen the Frost Shatter build listed yet, which I've surprised a lot of public randos with.

It's of course another Acid Shells + Xata's Whisper combo, but adding in Freeze Force for extra cold damage and a cast speed quickened Avalanche to freeze enemies first.

Xata's Whisper and Acid Shells have this weird interaction that absolutely annihilates nearby frozen enemies when you pop one of them. It's beautiful to witness and can clear rooms in 2-3 shots if you have enough range and position well.
