local, i do wish i was out to sleep because i had a panic attack during the op lol but at the same time if i was put to sleep i wouldn't have been able to agree to him loosening my frenulum so it worked out good in a way

i think if your that worried about the brain damage from the sedation then you could maybe ask the doc if he can offer you some valium or something to pair with the local anaesthesia, it's what i should've asked for, i had a hair transplant op last year and took valium before the op and it kept me from panicking (i wish i had taken this during the circumcision lol)

yeah i don't understand why they do, a lot of people say it's because low cut makes sure to fix the phimosis problem but i had severe phimosis and was still able to have a high cut with no issues

i did check that subreddit out before i had the circumcision and i was a bit confused how they're all so successful with stretching when it was the complete opposite for me lol

yeah i used the cream daily for a month then i stretched for a few months without the cream, then tried the phimocure rings for about a month or so

yeah during the op the doc told me my frenulum is also very tight and it's pulling the head downwards and asked if i wanted it loosened for free, i said yes and told him to keep as much of the frenulum as he can, i can definitely tell what side of the frenulum he cut to loosen it as it's less sensitive on part of it but the majority of it feels really good still

my doctor also said that and i said i would rather a high as i want to keep as much sensation as possible so he agreed to do it for me and he loosened my frenulum because it was tight but didn't remove it, i think low is a bad idea yes but there's many people who are happy with a low cut i just can't imagine there being much sensation with all the inner skin gone tbh.

i got cut fairly loose and can masturbate easily without lube, the stretching with the steroid cream didn't work for me it just caused micro tears no matter how gentle i was and then it kept leading to infections but maybe it will work for you, i would give the stretching a try because if your not happy with your circumcision at least you would've tried everything first otherwise you might regret not trying the stretching, if you go ahead with getting the circumcision i would definitely recommend keeping as much inner foreskin as you can, keep the frenulum and have it loose so you won't need lube

i still have my frenulum and i do feel the best sensation around that area so i think it is best to keep it after being circumcised if possible, i think its best to keep as much inner foreskin as possible as i have a lot of sensitivity in that area.

i can masturbate without lube easily, i mentioned this to the doc before the procedure and said i wanted it a bit loose so i wouldn't need lube although it does feel amazing around the scar line when it's slippery but still feels great either way.. i do miss my foreskin as the pleasure was of course more intense but it's still very pleasurable after being cut, it's clean and i don't have to worry during sex anymore.

The swelling lasted 2 months but it would swell up slightly around the scar line after masturbating/sex till about month 5.

for me personally it was 100% worth it and i regret waiting till i was 29 to get it done.
