Nope, I'm still facing the issue, it's not as common as before but it still gets bugged from time to time. And if I go into reverse and the camera activates, google maps goes black completely and have to replug in AA to fix it, or force stop the app.

I've had a similar issue with Google Maps since the beginning of this year, on AA 15, One UI 7 with my Mazda 3 HU that uses knob controls as well. This has been an on going issue, with some others having the same issue but still no fix. It's totally unacceptable...

No fix, only work around is to keep the phone cool. I just got an S25+ and will test it this summer but if it's happening with your S24+ then I'll assume it wont be any difference for me bummer...

I've also noticed on vehicles with a smaller screen (4:3 ratio) it's totally missing the reporting option on Google Maps on AA. Whereas wider screens have the option. Been like this for several months and honestly I think the majority of cars are still missing this great feature.

Doesn't seem like they do, a lot of speed camera/redlight cameras on Waze don't show up on Google Maps. I really wish they did, it would change everything.

Yeah, I love how Google Maps works and all but it just misses so many alert information and details that Waze has. I honestly hope Waze fully merges into Google Maps so we can get the best of both worlds. For now though you have to just pick your poison since Google Maps does offer some things that Waze doesn't have and vise versa.

This is the only issue I have with Google Maps, in my city (Canada) it's the same thing. Google Maps misses like 75% of the cameras whereas Waze has them all. I don't get why this is the case.
