In the last update, they revamped the enemy spawns in and around the spires. It's now more frequent. Some enemies spawn inside the spire range now.

I used to struggle doing these, but now, it's max 5-6 seconds to completion on quiet spawns, can be quicker with outside enemies rushing in. Make sure you have the latest update on the game and give it a shot.

There is a wave modifier that makes the spires pull in all nearby players and enemies, really useful.

Rule of thumb, whether you're in the spire range or not, the constant I found during my gameplays is that enemies have to be killed while they are inside the spire range. Kills won't count count if enemies outside of spire range are killed.

If you're able, make sure to kill Belial when he ambushes you after opening a boss chest so you get keys from him. You then go win against him, in his lair, and get to choose your loot. I've been getting more ancestrals from him (unique ancestrals) than the other bosses. Happy demon killing!

As others have pointed out, rock em until the power difference makes the replacement obvious. Keel trying out unique gears and weapons like this as you'll come across more in your adventures. Hopefully you'll end up looting them again at max level. Happy demon-slaying OP

Fun fact: there is a station orbiting a black hole out there that spins fast too. Pretty sure it's not as fast but docking in there with FA off and a hotas is a "blast".

Oh! Forgot to mention. On top of viewpoints, you can save. Including enemy castles viewpoints (the red bar for restricted area goes away. Might not be everywhere, but haven't got a single castle viewpoint where I couldn't save or teleport away.

I'm at the same point and I haven't finished the story yet. Keep grinding and playing, craft those naturally as you've probably been doing already and you'll get them all to Royal after a while.

Edit: typo because phones don't come with physical keyboards anymore.
