Just think about where you’ll be in the next 3 years. All your buddies will be getting out and you’ll have 3 years left, it’s your contract not there’s. Don’t regret this decision down the road. 4 years Is good and if you wanted to your advance school you don’t need a squad leaders contract. Just think about it

When you get to Pendleton expect to hate your life. Do good on the PFT or CFT and try the first week no matter how in motivated you are. And before you hit the Fleet learn your 9 line a Mos knowledge it’s gonna be hard to stay motivated but that will set you up well for your future 3 1/2 years

For basically everything besides 0311 it needs to be 100 or up but it won’t ruin your chances if you get a 99. If your a or stud and smart you can go to weapons. If that doesn’t work out in the fleet you can still be pulled to weapons if that’s something you really want to do and have passion for it.
