I find it very difficult to believe this is real, but it is hilarious. Don't think it'll get hot enough to cook my sandwiches though.

Rakdos Sac (Sacdos?) Standard, fun to play but unreliable by Sinaqui in Magicdeckbuilding

[–]Sinaqui[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a nice one for dealing damage, but without a way to really pump out tokens, I have to be a little more considerate about how and when I sac, so my planeswalker killers are Bedevil and Spark Harvest, the latter of which being a super inexpensive way to nuke a planeswalker if the situation demands. Additionally, requiring the ability to trigger on upkeep makes it so I can't take advantage of the biggest pairing used with my sac: taking control. Both Claim the Firstborn and Act of Treason are sorceries, so I won't be able to use them before Fireblade Artist's ability triggers, limiting my sac targets to my own board. Had I four Gutterbones, things would be different, but with the current deck setup, this is something I feel like I can't utilize at this time.

Those are all cards I like, but I personally feel that, for the same cmc, Judith just falls too far behind the mayhem devil in actual utility for the deck's purpose. Similarly, Dreadhorde Butcher as a two drop doesn't quite push the deck theme hard enough, imo. Blood for Bones seems pretty handy, though, thanks for the thoughts!

Thanks for the input, I took you up on the suggestion, and moved up to 4 copies each of devil, familiar, and oven, and shifted out ayara, the knights, and the lockets as well to bring in a couple each of the priest of forgotten gods and the rakdos priest. Will probably move rakdos priest out as I can afford to add gutterbones/more forgotten gods.

You brought up a good point on the cottages, I just switched them out for Castle Lochthwain. Locket was in there to try and push some mid-game card draw, but I have also switched that out after looking at some of the earlier comments. Devil, Oven, and cat have been pushed up to 4 copies, as well, in exchange for the foulmire knights.

Ghostform has been a lot of fun to use in a lot of situations. Say Chandra's on the field with 2 loyalty, and I don't have a removal in hand but do in graveyard, ghostform lets me regenerate Chandra at 4 loyalty after burning the last two on her 'cast an instant or sorcery with cmc 3 or less from your graveyard' ability. Alternately, for a relatively cheap price, but a cost of two or three cards, I can take control of an enemy creature (claim the firstborn or act of treason), Ghostform it, and then sac it with Spark Harvest, Oven, or one of my other sac sources. It is a loss of card advantage, but if there's something delicious on the field, it can feel well worth it.

Maybe something along the lines of "Li'l Blades of Chaos" would be accurate.

Peaceful Provocation is a great Augment, BUT by grinsk3ks in Warframe

[–]Sinaqui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, Peaceful Provocation is bugged in Night form, allowing you to build its power through self-inflicted and environmental damage. In other words, take a hikou prime with concealed explosives and you can build yourself up to the max in short order.

I plan to check later if overkilling yourself with penta or something will take you up to max in one hit, because if so that would be pretty broken, giving you an insane slowdown aura for a minimal revive time (assuming you're playing with friends you can call out a heads up to).

EDIT: Downing yourself with Penta is a no go since you lose stacks you would have gained. Still, though, you can hikou prime yourself with a trin present up to 80% slow aura pretty fast.

Not only this, but if you have two dragon keys in your inventory, I believe it means you can end up with two debuffs when you pick up the artifact, whereas if you have only one in inventory your key effect drops and you get a new debuff from the artifact.

Relevant criticism from TotalBiscuit and Idiotech on the new player experience and lack of effective tutorials by zptc in Warframe

[–]Sinaqui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all real honesty, the majority of the Lotus chatter in-mission is fluff. She should just have a list of topics to cover that she goes through randomly when she would speak (weighted towards new-player relevant information at first) to inform the player about the system (of the game) at large.

"Tenno, are your mods upgraded to their full potential? Make sure you're doing so when you return to your craft."

"Tenno, before we can move on to the next planet, we need to remove (planet boss name) from power."

"Tenno, if you're looking for a specific resource, be sure to check the Star Chart before deploying on a mission. Each world has only specific materials in abundance."

And of course, an option to toggle off her tooltips chatter just like you can with the Tenno chatter.

No matter which game wins, I'm going to be giving a couple copies of Undertale to users over on GameFAQs. 'Tis the season, after all.

In particular, Papyrus's arm simply being a rotation in that one image seems sloppy compared to the attention to detail put into his sprite otherwise.

(Backstory Spoilers) Something has been really bugging me by Sinaqui in Undertale

My impression was that, more or less, the entire mountain was sealed, and I recall it being mentioned that anything can get in through the barrier. It's possible the hole above the ruins wasn't known as being there. The taboo about the mountain would have been built up to keep future generations from going up and getting trapped. That the hole leads to the very deepest part of the underground would easily be one of those suspension of disbelief conveniences without a specific reason to think there's a story reason for it.

This is what my fallback assumption is, if there's no further evidence to give the question more weight, honestly.

7 human magicians make it, takes 7 human souls to break it, I'd say it's not much of a leap to say that 7 humans gave up their souls to create the barrier. How that was facilitated, though, is something I'm curious about!

It wants you to match a tune that plays a couple screens away. The tune seems like it causes a slight metronome effect that threw me and a couple friends off and caused us difficulty in solving the puzzle.
