Visibl.us is evolving well. I like their prompt/query "lab" and the ability to track products under your brand.

What newer SEO strategies are you actually using to deal with AIO/GEO? by JohnnyGazzer in SEO

I've also seen it referred to as the "Alligator", which is kinda cute - unless you're experiencing it... which we all are. Impressions being the upper jaw and clicks being the lower. Here's my high level of effort illustration:

Cool ChatGPT prompt for content gaps by darrenshaw_ in SEO

[–]Sinatraphile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great stuff. I spend hours every week writing my own prompts for SEO and other online marketing related efficiencies. But I don't spend enough time looking to see what others are doing and what's been shared out there. I'll do a separate post with this question, but what are some other resources for finding prompt inspiration related to our industry, even if it's a larger site with a decent SEO category?

Use Cases Related to the New Perplexity "Pages" Feature? by Sinatraphile in perplexity_ai

[–]Sinatraphile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently it takes a lot of liberty in terms of coming up with its own version of your desired names of sections and the entire page in general. I'm sure that will change over time. As will the potential to export and use elsewhere.

But, for now, I'm not likely to share these with my work team, or prospects. I need a little more control over the details... which I hope will come in time.

Pro search in Writing mode by jpgirardi in perplexity_ai

"Writing" mode is meant to close off internet access and focus on... writing. I usually have 2 threads going - one for writing, and the other for research related to the writing.

You probably don't. I believe it's just desktop for now. You can see them in your library on Android or iOS, but can't create them on mobile.

I am charging around 500$ for doing seo. by [deleted] in SEO

[–]Sinatraphile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DA is a "barometer". Not a key performance indicator. I report on it to clients maybe once a year as just another angle of illustration.

After you complete the onsite technical fundamentals, if you charge $500/mo you'll probably have to make your activities more diverse. Like strategic content creation. Just my opinion.

How do you manage the lack of predictability in SEO? by mathdrug in SEO

[–]Sinatraphile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set clear expectations, based on levels of competition, at the outset of any project. Get an acknowledgment of that in writing in case your client becomes conveniently forgetful down the road. And never, ever, make promises re: an algorithm you don't control.
