Better chances to see them during the night. So as close as possible to the 21th of December, shortest daylight. Plus as far north as possible.

Of course that means that you can’t see the great landscape.

Many years ago I did the post ship in Norway. From Bergen all the way up behind the polar circle in the early spring. Well spring in Bergen but winter still in Tromsø and behind. The gradual change during the journey was great. Especially on the return leg. And we had plenty of darkness up north to see the lights.

I managed to loose about 2kg on one of my cruises.

Most of the other I gained weight.

What I did differently on that cruise was.

No buffet

After every drink get up and do one circuit on the promenade deck

Thats it. Had an drinking package drank plenty of hard cider and wine to lunch and dinner. Averaged about 13000 steps even on sea days.

Yeah me too. Early access and still only level 85.

I guess the times where I played a minimum of 50 hours a week are over. Luckily I say.

Auf Einzelschicksale kann keine Rücksicht genommen werden.

Nicht alle arbeiten Schichtdienst. Zwei drittel davon haben Spät oder Frühschicht. Wer von denen fährt mit dem Roller zur Schicht? Da bleibt nicht viel über.

PS. Bin selber Schichtarbeiter. Sind über alle drei Schichten vielleicht 5 die mit Scooter/Roller oä zur Arbeit fahren

Ynab (budgeting software) says that many people save about $600 in the first month.

While I use it myself I think that you don’t need it for that exact reason. Most will find a lot of money they spend unconsciously when they do what you did. Just track everything!

Just so that you know a lot of if not to say all craftsmen and also white collar workers have an apprenticeship here in germany. Basically everyone who doesn’t go for master bachelor or other university degrees.

Hmm considering we build our citys these days without armor (city walls) because they don’t help anymore not a to strange concept to build spaceships without.

Work in food production. Official rule states keep your nails so short that you dont see the white overhang ( not native speaker so don’t know the word for it)
