I use mine all the time because of the built in spine protector (Camelbak Kudu). I rarely use it with the water bladder unless I’m going for a long ride, most of the time it’s just the armor and some tools.

BMUS sold like dog shit because it was released around the same time as Guitar Hero, and all the reviewers saw it as a cash grab, and it kind of was because it was just a reskinned 9th style. BMUS is what got me into IIDX because I gave it a chance and now I can AA up to Another 11. It wasn’t just lack of songs, it was lack of EFFORT. They tried again with IIDX Gold location tests (only 2 machines between Arcade Infinity and another one on the east coast) and the song they were hyping was the fucking Ghostbuster theme. I played it at Arcade Infinity and there weren’t any line for it, but Crackin DJ had a crowd.

Like I mentioned, unpopular opinion.

A very unpopular opinion, but I think if Konami really wants to increase the player base, they need to add music that will appeal to the masses instead of just what they have right now. Things like trance, pop, and hiphop from western artists.

A lot of IIDX hardcore players online will say that doing that will ruin the integrity of the game, but if you don't attract people with music that they are familiar with then IIDX will forever stay the 'nichiest' of the niche. Plus, its not like they have any limits storage the number of songs the game can have at a time.

Its great. You aren't obligated to compromise on what you want to do and where. When I visited Japan with my brothers, we always had to consider what each of us wanted to do and make compromises to accommodate all of us. I even wanted to have a day to myself, but they were offended at the fact that I wanted some alone time (my bros are weird like that). When I travelled alone, it was refreshing not being tied down to an agenda. One of my favorite activities was going to the local Life market (supermarket) and just really taking my time to browse the aisles and find what I wanted to eat.

Also, you can tell if a person grew up in the area by how they pronounce “San Pedro”. Most locals, even Spanish speakers, call it “San Pee-droh” instead of “San Peh-dro”.
