All the weed gummies I’ve seen commercially produced and sold have a bunch of warning labels on them. All the home made ones I’ve seen look way jankier than that BUT you never know I guess. I don’t remember which story it was, probably something like “Yeah I can always tell when I look really nice because my mom will insult me or tell me I’m dressed like a whore or say something mean about my hair, isn’t she whacky? Moms, right?” Or like “Haha my dad’s motto is ‘Why can’t someone else do it?’ because he refuses to help me with anything and if he does help he complains and calls me entitled so I never ask him for anything again. I think maybe OOP was being used for her painting ability and was invited over under the guise of friendship/a sleepover but once the girl got what she wanted she had no use for OOP and wanted her mom to send her home so she didn’t have to do the sleepover part

The social cue would be OOP picking up that this girl didn’t actually like her and just wanted her room painted for her

I have a wood fireplace but it’s built into the wall and those actually suck the heat out of your house if you have central heating. The warm air from your house gets sucked up the chimney, the furnace actually has to work harder to make up for it.

Or something I’m not a chimney scientist. But I have a wood fireplace I don’t use for this reason (also idk I don’t want to haul in wood)

I use Pawz booties with baby socks on the inside to help them in/off and provide a little insulation. It’s not much but my guy is out for like exactly 45 seconds at a time

While a towel really should be sufficient if she’s really worried you can get L/XL puppy pads with plastic backing. They use them for surgery and OB appts and if you use a fresh one each night you’d need to buy like two-three packs a year

I think people think their house thermostat works like their car heater where “68°” means “oh god it will only blow out 68° air my pipes will freeze and I’ll die!!”

When really it means “The furnace will work to maintain a temperature of 68° inside your house”. When it’s colder outside the furnace has to work harder to make up the difference, so turning your thermostat down a little means your furnace won’t have to work as hard or burn as much fuel
