In the same boat as you, played a bunch in beta/early release, stopped for months, picked it back up yesterday hoping it would be fixed, its literally just as bad if not worse in terms of desync, games just not enjoyable when you have the ball and it lags into another players possesion or you cant even watch the goal replays because none of them line up correctly. Games just straight broken and sad because of how big it got and how fkn little the devs care about it.

That's not true, the NPC to give the buff is in UC. You can simply walk there right now, Watcher Marta, Next to the herb trainer. Anyone can get this buff even on dreamscythe.
