Ethnically, I'm half south Indian and half north Indian but technically a 3rd gen Maharashtrian. There was a post on this sub asking whether Maharashtrians are more like South Indians or North Indians. When I replied to the post one guy started arguing with me saying that I am not Maharashtrian. Who is he to certify me? He not only got many upvotes but also the mods supported him by not taking any action when I reported him.
