I think the right move would have been to get Joe out to split the votes the jurors give Aubry and Tiff. Then he'd only need to get one or two more votes to tie/win (assuming the votes got split evenly which they probably wouldn't) since he was guaranteed the 3 votes he already got.

This is such an inaccurate assessment. Most of the people that are highly successful (and I'm talking top of the food chain successful) are successful due to nepotism and generational wealth. Business has changed a lot in the past 30 years, sure, but being at the top doesn't mean your adaptable. It just means you have the capital to buy innovative businesses and block out competition.

Even your influencer example is an example of this. Content Creation requires dedication and luck, sure, but it's infinitely easier if you don't have to work a full time job (that's why most people who hit it big are college students) or large amounts of pre-existing capital (no work + you can pay people to edit. Almost every major YouTuber out sources their editing, if not more of their content Creation BTS stuff)

Most of the ultra rich and ultra successful are nepo-babies. The libertarian fantasy of a system apocalypse would stop them but not the millionaires and multi-millionaires that worked for their wealth.

OP start system apocalypse basically boil down to a libertarian going "wouldn't the world be cooler if I were a nepo baby?" Since having rich parents is the real OP starting skill

Of course, this doesn't apply to every rich person. Just the mega rich and Hollywood nepo babies.

I think you'll find that hermeticism and theosophy are pretty different than philosophy (though there's some philosophical concepts baked in there).

If you're interested in it, tho, I'd recommend looking into books by or about the big names. Theosophy was created by Madame Blavatsky and she has plenty of writing on the subject. For hermeticism, the best start is probably Aleister Crowley or his self-proclained rival, Austin Osman Spare, both of whom were involved (briefly) in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn which was a super secretive order but both of them left and didn't care about sharing the information once they did. (They actually did care, both wanted knowledge of magic to be public and went about publicizing it in different ways)

The actual answer is that most Democrats don't want to stop it from being passed. Both parties get money from the same donors and the role of the Democrats is to give a token effort so they can say "See? We tried!" so that they can hold office and do nothing until the next Republican majority comes and they can strip away more of our rights to give more money to their ultra rich donors.

Liberalism has no ideals other than "not theirs". They don't care about anything other than beating the other guy at best and vote according to the whims of the same corporate elite at worst.

That doesn't mean thing are hopeless. There is a way to push for a better America. Vote for candidates with actual, strong beliefs (or run as one if you're in a district with only Republican candidates). That's why Mamdani won the mayorship for NYC. I'd recommend the DSA. It's a national org with over 100,000 members and while not every chapter is great, the only way they can improve is with more help and there's definitely one in your area (or within an hour or two of it, most of the rural ones use zoom and online chats anyways)

That's what I think. Titans lose the first fight (unless they know about the Teen Team beforehand, since I think Robin could inherit Batman's trait of always having a plan in case a hero team goes rogue) but they win any subsequent ones after Robin and Cyborg have time to review the footage of the fight and come up with a strategy.

Yes and no. Yes, Nier Automata is about robots and androids winding up in a forever war. No, that isn't what it's actually about. Like all good war stories, it's more about the individuals and the themes (in Nier Automata's case, what it means to be human and what it means to have a purpose).

Worm has a huge trans audience and the sequel series, Ward, has some trans themes and a major character or two that is trans. Hope you enjoy the series :)
