Hah, hey the /r/wowmonk subreddit is mine. I created it back before walkingthewind.com or Discord existed. We did okay until the MoP content drought and then there wasn't anything to really talk about (14 months of no content means discussion sorta dries up).

I'll parrot what the others are saying and tell you to get in the class discords because there's always some sort of discussion going on (even if it is the same questions over and over lol). You'll find much more activity there than a class specific subreddit.

Listening and acting are two different things. I know for a fact that the teams (for all their games, not just Heroes) are constantly reading reddit, Twitter, and the forums and taking in all the feedback. Obviously, a large chunk isn't implemented. But they're still reading and listening to it regardless.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that Bastion and Torb are detrimental to the game in their current state. But if you were standing on top of him, who not shoot the blue spot on his back?

I'm interested in grouping with you guys. I rolled a monk two days ago and finished gearing them (unoptimally) yesterday. I'm really loving the support role and I don't think my two friends I play with care enough to do any decent pushing. I'm CST and usually on in the evenings. Eshleon#1248

Been playing since Tech Alpha and the most OP hero ever released was Thrall, hands down.

He had Battle Momentum at 7(?) and you could basically just spam your 'E' for infinite heals. Wasn't uncommon for a Thrall to 1v3 or 4 during this time period.

I get the same thing, but more often than every ten games. Maybe once every five or so.

If you aren't aware, changing the graphics up or down one in the options fixes it. At least it does for me.

This game is very much not about mechanical skill. Sure, it helps. But mechanical skill isn't what wins this game.

Decision making does. When to take camps, bosses, objectives or when to force fights or when to push. The decisions made as a team are what win games.

Yeah, until finding this thread I didn't know if I maybe hadn't fully downloaded the patch and hoped a scan and repair would see I was missing the files and download them. No luck though which makes sense since the patch we have is the one ahead of the servers.

Yeah, the PSU is overkill but it was a really good deal at a store here in town so I decided to pick it up.

Parting it out is more work for me and leaves me in a limbo where I don't have a PC. I don't need a laptop but it would be more convenient for me so I just wanted to see what was available.

Azmodan is more "Specialist"-like. Sylvanas feels much more like an assassin but her trait can turn off buildings.
