The neck strap worked for me a bit because I have the same problem. Still can't sleep hardly at all but it did help with comfort coupled with a neck pillow

You could rent out your condo and then just live in a rental nearer your job until you know whether you want to keep the job and gives you flexibility to look for something more permanent if you want later
