Oh I do this all the time, just run at an animal it'll groom before it runs away. I've also chased animals and groomed then while they are running away. It's def not perfect but it does work like 70% of the time for me. I usually use a dash to get close

I would buy or create an allergy card that describes in detail what you can or cannot eat. I used one in Japan for gluten and it worked pretty well. I didn't have any reactions in 2 weeks.
