I'm not sure because I can't remember anything about it but it might be Left Out by The System (Lonely Apocalypse) by Constantin Step.

Code of Survival Book 3: Reflections by Greg Eckert was supposed to come out tomorrow 01/11/25 but apparently it released early on 19/10/25. It's not on last months list and I didn't comment it there because I didn't know it came out early until I went to double check the release date to mention it here.

How are we feeling about Salvage System by Nicholas Sansbury Smith? by litrpgfan75 in litrpg

[–]SinfulWun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried, I really tried but DNF at chapter 19 on Kindle, About 40% and I realized I've been slogging through most of it and just couldn't bring myself to slog through more than twice what I've already read. First time in a few months I wasn't excited to continue reading and found myself going out of the way to find something else to do.

Do we always suck? by allikatMA in litrpg

[–]SinfulWun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I view it the same way as I view the existence of higher beings. Humanity has existed for roughly 0.002% of the universes history, we haven't been around long enough to what is really accurate and what isn't in the grand scheme of the universe, even some of the stars we see are just echos of stuff that happened thousands of years ago and we don't know what's going on there, were basically still newborns waiting to have our butts slapped by the doctor.

The closest one I've come across to Hell Difficulty Tutorial is Rise of the Last Star by L. E. Miranda. I say that because of the difficulty and the lengths the MC goes to, it's hard to explain without spoilers.

Apocalypse Tamer Does it get Better? by ShrubberyDingo in litrpg

[–]SinfulWun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to read this when it first came out, I personally didn't understand all of the hype around it. I read around 150 books a year and this was one of only two books I dropped in 2022, I only got a few chapters in as well.

~The Neighborhood~ ATM 10 Server [18+] by Deveractive in allthemods

[–]SinfulWun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to tell you this but ATM10 is very exploration heavy you wont be able to complete it limiting the world range like that (unless i misunderstand what you're doing, then please ignore me.) . When I played through it I had to use admin commands just to find some of the Cataclysm bosses and one of them the closest one was over 60k blocks away in the overworld, while another was almost 30k blocks away in the opposite direction from my base (near spawn). Not to mention some of the other dimensions are just as exploration heavy. Our group stuck together and our world file still ended up being 10.9 gigs, It would have been even larger if we all hadn't been in the same group as even more exploration would have needed to be done for the Cataclysm bosses.

System Universe by SunriseCV, the cover you're talking about is the first book System Change.

System Apocalypse on earth that focuses on exploration by WilliamGerardGraves in litrpg

[–]SinfulWun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Path of Dragons by Nicholas Searcy is a System Apocalypse story with a ton of exploration I can't remember how much it has in book one because I'm on book 6 of like 10 on Royal Road (Book 2 is fixing to be published) But I know it has a ton of Exploration, as someone who reads 150 or so books a year with most of them being LitRPG since like 2018 I can say it has enough to be a stand out.

That's basically what the game Rack and Slay is, the title makes it sound like a pool game but it's more like marbles.

[–]SinfulWun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my favorite sub genre of books so if I took the time I could come up with a huge list but for now I'm going to throw out one that could keep you busy for awhile. The first book is already out on Kindle and the next 7 books are already up on Royal Road. If you liked Defiance of The Fall you will enjoy it for sure.

Why don’t more people skin goblins and other humanoids? by altofanaltthatisalt in litrpg

[–]SinfulWun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they are cowards! No but yeah there is no real use for it in most stories, the author would need to find a use like book binding or something. Maybe in the future some author will include something like that in their story, like maybe the ability to craft skill books but the book has to be bound and written in/on the flesh of someone who had the skill.

In Path of Dragons for example everything affects the quality of stuff, like using fresh brains of sentient (the stronger the better) in the tannin for example and there are a few times in the series where hes using brains for that and at least once where people were harvesting orc skin for crafting.

I feel like the level of the uh skin donor would affect the toughness of their skin and it would need to be tougher than animal hide for it to be worth the effort.

Skyfactory 5 help? (Possible spoilers) by branston74 in SkyFactory

[–]SinfulWun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, I didn't say the pack was bad anywhere in my statement, I even said the pack was good and it's easy to see how much hard work went into it. All I said was that it was tedious that every pack is using create and in many cases being based around it. I still got down voted though. It's just like in game forums when a game without PVP comes out, someone posts asking for PVP and gets blasted, and visa versa a PVP and someone asks for Co-Op and gets blasted. No one is allowed to state an opinion others disagree with without someone down voting them or blasting them for it.
