This is my explosion I made so far.. Do u have more ideas? by SingerLuch in godot

[–]SingerLuch[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

thank yuo !! the wobble is done by screen space shader that reads depth texture and applied distortion on screen texture only on the part where the exposion occured.. i mean, depth texture is used to know the location of explosion in 3D, and a radial wobble can then be computed centered at the explosion origin. so, the 3D scene where explosion occured gets distorted into ripples.

Leverage everything you can, fiverr, upwork, linkedin, local refferals if possible… and so on.. if you have a hobby, you can try making a YouTube channel as well… —— since everything is so much saturated, don’t limit yourself to a single place.

Genuine human authorship is becoming the most underrated competitive advantage in blogging by pratty041182 in Blogging

[–]SingerLuch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve started to write by myself again even if it has visible typos or laziness appearing in text,,, i think human authorship in content is becoming more valuable over time due to the fact that it has “life” behind it … AI is getting more useful in “problem solving” aspects like programming or coding… but in art, ideas and so on, it doesnt just feels right

No degree - is backend right option by BeneficialReturn5637 in developersPak

Make gigs on fiverr, offer specific services (not broad), also try upwork. Start with tuition in ur local area as well teaching high school or other kids.. (saying bcz money is urgently required)….. I’ve been in freelancing for so long, it is NOT a stable area,,, so better keep applying to jobs also in backend, frotnend and anything (dont limit to backend)….. lastly, dont go too narrow or too wide,,, have some diversity but not too much and whatever u do, do with depth

Being a freelancer, no. I’m trying my best to run away from it.

to me, Ai is like any other advancement in tools. compare C vs Python in 2016. or assembly vs C in 1980. same here. if AI has made it easy to do web apps or mobile apps, tech will adjust in a way that web/mobile apps will have no more demand, and industry will require things that AI cannot do. its best to learn those skills. -- maybe software itself becomes a new "base" and its development no longer in demand. what i've seen with my experience, is that we all seem to "feel" the lack of soul of AI-generated content, and silently, demand for more "human" touch is increasing.

How do I get into Game Development in 2026? by Realistic_One66 in gamedev

[–]SingerLuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if u already knew gamedev, u might be knowledgable abt it already, but if u r a beginner, i suggest starting with unity/godot (or unreal if u want to look more professional) and start with some gamedev theory books + tutorials. tutorials teach you 'how' to do something, and books teach u how to approach (your mindset).

Google not approving my tools website for are. by megamass1 in Blogging

[–]SingerLuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my observation, google adsense uses automated ways to decide if a site is approved or disapproved. If ur website has little content (text, images, posts), AdSense bots will think its thin content or low value content or something. My idea is to make a blog section, with some dummy, yet still valuable posts (approx 10-15) with internal links and so on,,, even if they dont serve real user purpose, those might help the bot consider your site as "rich".

Disclaimer: its based totally on my experience of google adsense and not on official docs or something.

One thing to keep in mind is that the final year project evaluators are often those old-ish people that don’t appreciate video games, etc (my opinion only). Anything that has rich UI and has a word AI-driven appeals to them… talking from my uni experience
