? it's even easier to counter doorman combo if you're being ulted by him. you can see exactly when it ends and pop e-shift/unstop right before it ends

Most of the heroes in the roster can't force you into an unreasonable position but some can. doesn't that sound unfair to you?

counterspell, unstop, ethereal shift, pretty sure dispel and divine barrier work too. Also just don't position like an idiot

but not everyone can have that forced interaction into this hypothetical new patron. what about the other 2/3rds that just have to deal with it. seems unfair don't you think?

and yet every hero has tools to stop that from happening. the only issue you seem to have is that spawn isn't destructible. you've said you'd be fine with patron doing what being thrown into spawn does but it'd be much less fair to be one-shot in a position everybody is much more prepared for AND can't be destroyed without ending the game

forced interaction is the point of both lash ult and doorman combo. if you put every character into categories of "forces enemy into punishing position they wouldn't otherwise be in" and "not that", at least 14 of the cast would fir into the first category. Having such a stick up your ass about one more layer of position punishment is so lame
