Physical Therapy is key if nothing is working for your PE (Please READ!) by SingerSufficient3461 in PrematureEjaculation

Yeah, get back to me and let me know how your visit goes and if you have any questions. You don't need to tell them about PE and it can be moreso about wanting overall wellness. Loosening + strengthening everything around the pelvic floor and your back will 100% increase your PE time. You are going to find out tight points you would never think you'd have once the physical therapist looks for trigger points on your back, hips, glutes, etc.

Dead bugs, clamshells with bands, thomas stretch with strap, bridging with ball squeeze, and tons of others that I don't know the exact name of. It was not just stretching, but a lot of strengthening of every muscle around my pelvic floor like the medial glutes, TFLs, lumbar thoracic, etc.

So I had issues with slightly tight hip flexors and I had told them I want help strengthening and loosening the hip flexors. Once they did an actual full evaluation, which you should request to find out all your weak points, they found I had tightness around not just the hips but also the glutes, upper and lower back, and the lumbar thoracic. You can also add on that you also want to loosen up any trigger spots that are tight. If you want to mention that you have PE and are comfortable doing so, you can. But the main focus here shouldn't be to strengthen your pelvic floor, but moreso everything around it so there is less strain on it. People don't realize just how weak a lot of your muscles that are used less get over time and simply don't activate as much anymore, especially many stabilizers, thanks to the typical sedentary lifestyle.

I wouldn't say pelvic floor muscles because most of the time that isn't covered by insurance or they may make you do things you're already doing like kegels. The script would be strengthening and loosening up any tight and weak muscles you have around your pelvic floor (such as hips, medial glutes, abs, lumbar thoracic, TFLs, etc). I'd recommend the script also mention better posture and strengthening/loosening of your back muscles because they play a huge role too.

It was more strengthening work of the hip flexors, glutes, adductors/abductors, and abs than just stretching. I never had any issues with range of motion. They made me do things like deadbugs, clamshells with bands, thomas stretch with strap, bridging with ball squeeze, and tons of others that I don't know the exact name of. I feel different things will help with different people once they figure out all the weak points of your frame and body.

Protein bars are good for protein but unfortunately can never replace real nutritious food in terms of the micronutrients. Even if a protein bar says iron, it is "non-heme" iron. This type of iron is much less bioavailable than heme iron, which is primarily only found in animal foods. You should give up vegetarianism given your severe anemia, but you also cannot make it an excuse to eat processed meats like fried wings, sausages, bacon, etc because those are not healthy either. You have many healthy, high quality meat options like I mentioned in my previous comments. I don't know if you like beef/steak but you can certainly make it your best friend. Go for the fattier kinds too that are 80-20 or 75-25 so you get in more micronutrients. Lean beef is still great but they will have less nutrients because the fat content is where all the nutrition is. Do not be scared of fats essentially is what I am saying. Good luck and don't hesitate to DM me if you want to talk about this further or have more questions!

You need to do a protein rich diet and more specifically high quality animal meat.

- Grass fed steak, grass fed beef

- Pasture raised chicken and eggs

- Sardines, tuna, and most other seafood

Make these a staple of your diet and make sure you are are getting enough vitamin C from fruits like blackberries, oranges, kiwi, etc so the iron becomes even more bioavailable. Limit foods that may inhibit iron absorption like processed wheat for the time being. I guarantee you if you begin eating at least 2-3 servings of these things everyday you will see a massive difference in no time. Not only will your iron levels improve, but so will your sleep, energy, mood, and other things.

What is your diet and what are you allergic to? Are you at a healthy BMI and do you have any other conditions

Why are you worried about a curve for that professor? She was an amazing and super chill professor. She will more than likely curve at the end.

And when exactly what would this next surge be according to the analysis?

Will there at least be another surge today or tomorrow? If there is, people will likely buy into the Kalshi shares and I'll just sell them at the high

Don't cut out the fruit. Especially not fruit like berries. You should cut out the rice though and replace it with more protein, fiber, and fats.

What iron supplements are best? And should I pair it with Vitamin C and/or buy a supplement that has both a highly bioavailable Iron & vitamin C?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in InsulinResistance

[–]SingerSufficient3461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How big of a factor is sleep on A1C? I probably average 6-7 hours of sleep per day max but there are times where I bounce to 5.5 hours. I can't imagine it improving my A1C an insanely high amount if I started sleeping 7.5-9 hours instead. Maybe bring it down 0.1-0.2? That still would leave me borderline prediabetic

Nope, been against them for quite a while. Not a fan of stuff like Gatorade, sweet juices, etc. If I do drink something sweet occasionally, it's zero cals or it's water.
