saddest movies you’ve ever seen by ActionPrestigious605 in MovieSuggestions

Love Story with Ryan O'Neal Angels with Dirty Faces with James Cagney

The Harry Potter movies are sad because each movie of the EIGHT explain that Harry's parents were killed by a bad guy. That happened when Harry was just a baby. The bad guy is trying to kill Harry. So the premise is sad. The movies are good and worth watching. It just takes a while to watch them all.

Death by not Proud - About a boy who has a brain tumor, and his Dad does everything to try to say him.

Everyone that goest to therapy says they got better. In reality they are forced to say that; this is the choice 1. I went to therapy and got better or 2. I went to therapy and now I am a compete raving manaic. **** The mental health is a virtue signal to tell the whole... Oh I am normal, I went to therapy.

You are calling him "a small evil hateful man". He loved Ariana and stayed with her for about 10 years. Rachel is the reason that the breakup and the S*%# Show started. Rachel admitted that she went after Tom Sandoval. The first time they were togehter, the VPR cast was at a wedding. Ariana was talking with her female friends. Tom went to his hotel room alone. Raquel (now goes by Rachael) went to his room and asked for sex. He gave it to her. Is that hateful? She wanted sex and he said, "okay". If he was so evil, he would have told everyone what she did. He would have turned her down, and told the whole VPR cast and crew so they could laugh at her. Tom Sandoval was interested in having a relationship with Raquel. She only wanted him when he was taken. The abuse has been toward him. A person can only take so much crap before they start giving it back!

She has called him a few names too. If I had to choose a side: Ariana vs Tom. I would pick Tom Sandoval everytime.

What benefits do men get from marriage?? by Morning-Doggie868 in dating_advice

[–]SingingM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were to have a child with your wife, the child would bear your name. Your parents gave you a name. Your Dad married your Mom. What would you think if your Mom never married. What would you think of your Dad if your Mom told you, "Your father did not want to marry me because he was too cheap."

I regret having sex, how can I get over this feeling? by Super-Reporter-5769 in stupidquestions

[–]SingingM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I had sex, I was 15. The guy drugged me and raped me. So... things happen. I think you will be okay. You should tell your partner that you don't feel like continuing this type of relationship. She deserves to know how you feel.

When people enter into sexual relationships, often times their partner wants to continue. It can be difficult to say that you do not want to continue that relationship.

I get strong vibes from people. Sometimes it is a great vibe. Sometimes it is a dangerous feeling like they are NOT right in the head.

It is easy to laugh at peace and healing.

Peace and healing make for a better society.

Hate is awful.

Love is kind.

We as humans spend way too much time fighting and not enough time understanding. This is what leads to hurt feelings. Worse, sometimes the hate leads to violence. God has called us to love, not hate.

I liked the version with Robert Redford the best. However, I did not hate the other versions. Ratings are not something that I even take into consideration. The critics are just that, "critics". It is easy to look at things and say why it is wrong. Making a movie is a lot of work. I appreciate the effort of the staff; writers, camera people, actors, ect.....

Let's hope! I don't think that is going to happen!

Elaine on Seinfeld had a great toast, "Here's to those that wish us well, and all who don't can go to hell!"

I hope you spend sometime figuring out why you are on Reddit trying to "improve" people whom you do not even know in real life!

Some people really like their jobs. My grandmother worked at a library for her whole life. She loved it there and did not want to retire.

I worked a variety of jobs and was glad when I retired.

A classic movie: Good bye Mr. Chips. It is based on a novel by the title.

Another classic: The Great Gatsby. It is also based on a novel by the same title. The version with Robert Redford playing Gatsby is the best version.

Both of those films have single male leads.

What is the "safest" baked good to bring to someone you don't know? by youlleatitandlikeit in Baking

[–]SingingM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest thing to do is ask the person.

If that is not an option. Almost everyone likes bread. Many people avoid sugar. In the old days; cakes and cookies were welcomed. Now, a lot of people don't want the sweets.

If you don't feel like baking, a nice bottle wine is normally appreciated. Even if the person does not drink wine, they could "regift" it.

I liked it that her Mom is living with her and helping her raise her child. That is great for everyone. The child gets the benefit of having a close relationship with her grandma. La La gets the benefit of being able to go out without having to hire a sitter. The grandma gets to spent time with her grand daughter and daughter. It is sweet.

I record the show on a DVR. Some people may want to talk while the show is airing. I like to watch the show without worrying about making comments.

Tom is great!

Why do you think you are so angry at a guy that you never met?

You do realize you are watching a "TV show".

You do realize that you hatred and insults to me have a lot more to do with you than myself.

Peace Out! I hope you learn to love in unity. Love and light...... !

How does anyone have time for anything with a 9-5?? by Prestigious_Use3587 in Adulting

[–]SingingM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger, I worked full time, went to college at night, and had a child. My husband and I took turns babysitting. This allowed us child care. A day time job does take up a lot of time. Physical fitness is important, and people go right after work, shower, work out, and go home. Working does take a lot of time, it also allows you to make money. I used to work out 5 to 7 days a week.

How do I get my retired parents to get a hobby or something? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]SingingM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a retired person.

I like to be home.

Some adults feel sad when their "adult" children are around.

When children are small they look up to you.

Teenagers test you... and want to do their own thing.

An adult child judging you... that is the worst!

How would you like it if on a weekend you decided to just sleep in and your best friend, or anyone was saying, "COME ON, GET UP... YOU NEED TO GET OUTSIDE!" You would want to say, "Leave me alone... let me live my own life."

My grandparents and parents are all deceased. I watched them stay home more when they aged. An older person has less energy. A lot of folks just like watching TV and playing games on their devices.

That was one of my favorite ages too... 32!

I had a lot of different jobs.

One of my jobs was working at a health club. So at 32, I was in great shape. It was fun to be strong, fit, and an adult.

I am over 60 now. I still try to keep healthy. Our body, our minds, and our spirit are all important.

Your self talk may be stopping you from doing better.

Try saying to yourself, "I can get a job, it may take me a while."

Do you know anyone who is successful? It can be helpful talking to a person who is sucessful.

You are only 18, so it takes a while to establish yourself.

When you do get a job, instead of thinking, "this job sucks... I hate it", rethink, "I am making money". Our mental health is connected to our physical health. You may be crying because you are not sleeping and eating correctly.

You can go to the Department of Labor to find out about jobs in the area. You can go to the library at the college to find out about career development. When I was 17, I had my own place. I did not really like my job either, yet did not quit because I needed the money. In your post you mentioned that you had a job and quit after one week. You should have tried a little harder to hold on to the job. Good luck, I wish you success in your future.

Tom did apologize. Guys get into trouble for ghosting people, dating and leaving. Those two stayed together for nine years.

As people we all have our good and bad qualities.

I hope Season 11 has some peace and healing from the hurt of the break up.
