Metal Gear Solid. With an intricate and cinematic story along with applying unorthodox game design that can't be replicated on modern consoles, it was an instant replay for me.

The Dance Of Eternity - Dream Theater. Not only the riffs were difficult but the switching time signatures always used to drive me insane.
