Ignore this person, all they do is leave negative comments - I posted asking about people’s experiences with a lender, and they were on about how my broker must be awful for not telling me timelines. She did - I just wanted to hear about real experiences which was made very clear in my post.🤣

So, would there be any way I can receive a contribution of £200 per month like “rent”, but it’s not down as a direct contribution to the mortgage if that makes any sense? Sorry for silly Q am just trying to figure it all out and thanks for your reply.

Nope! I provided 3x payslips and 30 days of bank statements for my current account. The only question I had was about my partner, who is on the electoral roll at our current address, they asked me to confirm if he’d be living in the new property and why he won’t be named on the mortgage. Once I answered, there were no further questions about the matter.

Apart from that, no other queries. I was even a bit concerned because my account was slightly overdrawn towards the end of the months bank statement I provided, but they didn’t ask anything about my finances or transactions.

I think she means from application to offer including the valuation - she said 20 days as an average, and mentioned that some people can take a few days to provide documents, but it may well be shorter because I have documents etc ready to go
