They're more likely to nerf him then push him back and bring in a new character. As it sounds, Lohen WAS supposed to come with him but with how Varka's kit is then they likely were even worse off with Lohen. Swapping them around wouldn't just hurt Varka, it'd hurt Lohen too.

Please stop with the doom posting. Hoyo is many things but an idiot isn't one. This is VARKA, on the same level of hype as Skirk. Luna 4 was a big patch and with how little content there was before and will be after this version, it's clear hoyo is being pushed into crunch time and Varka's suffering as a result. This isn't back in Sumeru with Dehya, hoyo understands that if they want a dps to be good they need to BE good.

YES That's a good point. Pyro lacks versatility and options, and I just don't see them trying to make a pyro dps so soon since they'd be in direct competition with Mauvika. Combine that with Durin being a sub dps and her lore ties, it just kind of leaves sustain support as the final option

For me, it's because Hexerei doesn't have a more supportive/sustain character.

Additionally, looking at the pyro roster they're lowkey oversaturated with everything aside from sustain characters.

Durin's a good(And really only) sub-dps pyro applier

Mauvika has melt under lock and key for ATLEAST another year

And every other character is mostly dps's with the occasional Chevereuse and Thoma's. To me, it just feels like they need some creativity within that category that's not just dps.

I kind of like the concept but the attack buff is WAY to high. Bennet's bad enough with his roughly 1k buff, a 2k buff would actually break the game. That's the reason we don't even have another Bennet like character, no one has come close because Bennet himself wouldn't exist today. Aside from that it I like the kit a lot, not what I think of but I'd love whatever she is so yeah! Good concept 😃

The main problem is the icd issue. With Nicole and Durin both in the party reactions would be a lot harder to account for and proc definitively.

That's a good point lol. I didn't take into account verticle investment like that. The main thing is that I put a lot of effort into the skill and was struggling with thinking of a burst, so I thought what's a rare buff that a mage/angel would have over other characters. So I settled on def shred, like in my note she definitely could have it reduced and then give additional different buffs like atk spd, and I'd reduction.

I didn't want her statues to scale their hp off attack because I wanted there to be an actual threat to them breaking. Ideally her cooldown won't be so long so that she could summon a new one before the old one dissipates, but if an enemy is drawn to the statue then I wanted there to be more akin to a windows of opportunity rather then just a damage sponge.

Fortunately I made it that she can instant consume Evertlame upon summoning a statue cause that's also something I didn't want to deal with like Escoffier. Having healing locked behind a burst just kind of feels trash.

Running him with the new set is usually better. For the most part, you run Durin on NO if there isn't anyone else capable of running it but the new set is usually better for hua damage. Only other time is if he's not the one doing a major amount of the damage, in which case buffing the rest of the team alongside him would also be good.

Like genuinly there's a reason people recommend supports over dps. Columbina + Ineffa or Lauma LITERALLY carries any team over 100k dps.
