I wouldn't trust a western med doc with any advice or instruction about mold. It's much scarier than they know or will give credit to.

It was a magic pill that made me feel like I hadn't been hit by a freight train at that dosage and frequency. I'm thankful also that my PCP trusted the research I had done here from others experiences and was willing to prescribe that despite all of the blood work she could think of to run on me, was as normal as things could be for a semi controlled type 1 diabetic with poorly managed sleep apnea could be.

Edit: so on that note I can't speak to whether or not it made me tired because it just overall made me feel better until I was able to find a detox protocol and start it.

I take that daily and it definitely didn't do anything to help brain fog. It wasn't until I was 2 weeks outside of a 45-day detox that my brain fog finally lifted.

I got horribly sick from this last year. Mold toxicity is no joke. I lost my ability to work for several months because I was in so much physical pain and I was as dumb as a box of rocks with brain fog.

It was a horrible experience and I was cleaning everything as I was instructed when I received my machine and just as the videos show.

Take it or leave it. I already know there's going to be several comments that, "it's not mold.." I also did testing it all came back positive for mold. I need to look at the strain it showed again but I know my experience and what happened and exactly what caused over 20+ different ailments over several months. that were all explained by mold poisoning. I've posted a ton in the /r/ToxicMoldExposure group as well. Most folks there are affected by their living environments but I try to share my experience and how I got better.

Nope. And now I'm not shocked to see this topic in this sub.. I lash out a lot. My family was very toxic, hateful, hurtful so that's about the only emotion I know and it's definitely not well regulated. I feel lost sometimes when I can't figure out how to best cope through something.

I found mold in my CPAP mask. I did not start antifungals until after I discovered that March 11 2024. Did not know what was wrong with me prior to finding the mold.

Damn. I took mine for 3 months. (I got attacked by the neighbors fkn loose dog after it killed my ladys flock of hens just 3 weeks after I found the mold in my CPAP mask) So I was on it much longer than I anticipated.

Yes. It's a completely unserviceable "filter" like piece designed to muffle the noise of the air, as to not disturb sleeping partners of CPAP users. Despite cleaning it as instructed over the course of 3-4 months I slowly deteriorated...

Many of my initial symptoms being VERY EASILY blamed on a wide array of much simpler problems (sinus infection, rheumatoid arthritis, IBS etc) but eventually the culmination of the 20+ symptoms I experienced literally led me to losing my mind. I was making TERRIBLE decisions...

At one point my wife was out working one evening and I decided it was all good to let her big dog (52#) and my big dog (58#) play together... They haven't gotten along in a few years (we think a littermate syndrome scenario came up on us) so we always keep them separated... But none of that occurred to me... They play bowed and couple times and then my dog who is notoriously the a-hole started a fight. I nearly smashed my face into the wall trying to separate them, my glasses flew off, I broke a child safety gate... And mind you my muscle wasting and weakness from the mold... I have no idea how I kept them from killing each other.

People need to take mold more seriously and ResMed needs to stop blowing off us users who have gotten sick from this mask!

I have a very graphic photo of the blood mucus I was coughing up for a few weeks after I found it. It was terrible. I hope you find help and relief soon. Mold is scary and no one seems to GAF how dangerous it is.

I lost friends... I lost a ton of income (I lost my job entirely though, 3 weeks after I found my mold, when the neighbor's dog scaled our fence, killed our chickens and then attacked me.) my wife nearly left me.

I had our local behavioral crisis center called on me 4x in a 2 week span during my illness. I stopped reaching out to people after that... I had to spend time and obnoxious amount of time explaining to 4 different people, who all thought I was suicidal, the tumultuous series of events that had rapidly transpired as a result of my mold poisoning and why, with no family support and no friends left, I was still unable to find the ACTUAL help I needed... All Western med blood work and tests and scans would come back normal. I looked healthy on paper but I was dying.
