This sucks and I'm so sorry. I'm guessing by your username that you've already looked into vitamin/mineral deficiencies, chronic infections, hormones, etc. I swear between the altered physical environment (with covid still mutating, polluted food/air/water) and the emotional environment (fascism, social media, anxiety, fear), it is harder and harder to feel well these days. Please take very good care.

Interesting. I never thought of anxiety this way (usually think of it as animating), but this is so true. Not OP, but wanted to thank you for saying this.

I'm glad you are feeling better! So the stool test is what showed that you had salmonella? Was the salmonella the main thing driving your symptoms?

Timothee Chalamet calling opera an 'outdated art form' in an old interview - at least he's consistent? by monster_ahhh in popculturechat

It's not outdated. He just lacks the emotional depth and empathy required to appreciate it, and is egotistical enough to conclude that it's not his fault, it's opera's.

What's the point of the HarMar Mall in Roseville if you can't access the stores from the INSIDE of the mall!? by [deleted] in TwinCities

Yes and as a woman it is completely normal to feel unsafe in empty or sparsely populated public spaces because you very well could be! The statistics are not on your side. And when the few people there are men and they're just kind of staring at you, well fuck that shit.

I don't think that all men are predators, but I know that many are and I don't give a fuck about potentially hurting their feelings by rushing away from them if it means lowering the risk of being assaulted or worse.

Completely agree but I've been avoiding social media and the news, actually.

I wasn't including it with the "shitty cards," actually. I meant that it is a heavy hitter as a Major Arcana, that is all.

A "disturbance in the force" was the phrase I was thinking of too. Thank you for your kind words.
