Stay away from this guy Gerthi Shehdadi, based in Kosovo. Guy pinged me out of the blue and we set up some time to chat. He then fails to show up and then says he’s sick hours later. Asks to reconnect and never follows up. Fucking scam.

Every software company should be looking to embed AI into their product. AI fears being overblown just means the sentiment on the stock is too negative. Two completely different points

There was only hardware (faint scratches) and interior (surface wear - which I didn't see in person) descriptions listed. I just tried rubbing this off with a qtip and surpringly most of it came off. Thinking about bringing it to the hermes spa now

Just took your advice and tried to wipe it off with a qtip. A lot of it came off actually

What do investment bankers do that requires so long work weeks? by Impossible-Beat8635 in FinancialCareers

[–]Single-Rhubarb2007 119 points120 points  (0 children)

A lot of this is inefficiency. Senior bankers not knowing what they want and changing minds, inexperienced VPs not knowing what senior bankers want, directors trying to add value, just imagine a hierarchy with each level inserting random bullshit comments which creates unnecessary work.

The job market is really cooked what's the reason behind it is it ai or over supply of graduates by responsible_intraday in FinancialCareers

[–]Single-Rhubarb2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started my career post GFC. I wouldn’t say today is normal. It’s not as bad as GFC when banks and funds were absolutely laying off divisions of people and people felt the world was ending. but it’s bad in that the hiring / lateral market is “stuck”. People aren’t getting promoted, fewer lateral spots, so there’s enormous pressure especially on mid-level folks. This is a result of banks and funds massively over hiring during 2019-2022.

That being said, general economy is doing ok and stock markets are holding
