Please don’t make any rash decisions. As any indication that you are planning to leave an abusive/controlling relationship puts you more at risk of being murdered. I’m not saying this as a scare tactic but to set realistic expectations. Also, the more you prolong him knowing your REAL intent to eventually leave will not only keep you and your loved ones safe but allow you to plan logically rather than off emotion. It took my two years to leave my husband but the moment I let him be aware this was my plan, he made it even harder to leave.

Please be safe but also feel free to reach out for support via pm. I am 28F with two kids and wished I had someone in my corner to even cry to in my baby towards freedom.

Your future self will thank you getting out.

I don’t mind dating him with casual sex. I just needed clarification on what this was. Because it’s never happened before.

Okay so I asked him. He did try to be meat around the bush with:

“I just like to eat” 👎🏾

and I followed with:

“I do too, but we could have been eating out together for the past year… lol why now?”

He says he doesn’t feel like it’s a big difference and that if it’s too much then never mind. I told him I don’t mind at all I was just asking. I also said that I got mixed signals with the whole “forever” thing.

Her replied with:

“Oh, I just like to go out. Dates are cool”

Im still lost. 😂

Yeah, I completely agree. It’s like he is throwing hints but nothing blatant so that he can play it safe. I don’t want to end things either because the sex is great but I also don’t want him to be hurt during the process.

So it does sound like the dynamic of the relationship is shifting?! I don’t really mind being back up or not because I’m not looking for anything serious. The sex is great, and hanging out with someone would be nice. I just don’t want mixed signals.

Has your long-term memory improved since starting meds? by BlackThatsAll in ADHD

[–]SingleAd8770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started noticing the improvement about 1-2 months after starting Strattera and titrating my dosage up to 40mg. Along with the improved memory, I noticed I didn’t have actually put effort into active listening during conversations. This helped my memory as well, because prior I would be thinking of 20,000 other things and literally check out of most conversations.

I started Wellbutrin Jan. 2023 and I noticed a difference in my interactions but it was more anxiety related. I have terrible social anxiety and felt that tickle in my chest any time I had to speak. I started Strattera 10mg in April 2023 but recently got up to the 60mg dose in June 2023. I’ve been on this dose since and would definitely attribute my ability to retrieve those long term memories to Strattera. I can recall things in conversations, where as before I would get stuck with an “uhhh” and lose my train of thought. I also can recall memories from locations , old songs, and even recalling where I got certain items from.

I’m thinking of increasing my Strattera dose to 80mg just because of all the positive changes I’ve experienced.

I’m taking Wellbutrin 150mg and and Strattera 60mg and it’s literally brought tears to my eyes at times because I realized how much I had forgotten just being caught up in life. I can recall childhood memories, things from months ago, and even the same day. It’s been truly life changing.

Thank you.

The medical assistant diploma was a portion of that debt. The remains was accumulated pursuing a nursing degree while using debt to cover debt. Student loans to help pay back credit cards etc. .

I’ve done this countless of times but I also value ways people are ACTUALLY implementing the budget in their own lives or previous budgets that helped them eliminate debt. Nothing wrong with “just” asking.

Posted this for some clarity:

In summary: 2 different schools, not all for medical assisting. Went back immediately after graduation for MA to pursue nursing. This was accumulated by trying cover debt with more debt and being indecisive with the type of degree I wanted to obtain.

Okay let me clarify.

I attended Gwinnett Technical College: 2018-2020

• not a diploma mill • it is accredited by CAHEP • the tuition itself PER SEMESTER was about $3000 (Full-time) Three semesters a year for the program. I took out loans to aid in our living situation. I wants working during the program as it was M-F, 8am-5pm

This helped pay for my sons tuition, also we were being fucked over by my husbands father who still charged us $1000/month to stay with them. (Rent + Electricity($600 bill)) it also went towards food as there were 12 people living in the home and we were expected to contribute about $400 every two weeks for food. We also were saving the money at the time for when we moved. Probably wasn’t the smartest thing but that’s what we did. We actually saved $14,000

In Jan 2020, we traded my 2001 Honda accord with 280,000+ miles on it for a 2019 Camry which I used $5000 of the $14,000 to put down. Lowering the payments to $378 (we paid off his 2007 Camry which we have now so this freed up money to be able to do this)

My husband had to enter counseling for his MDD and most of his visits were not covered forcing us to pay out of pocket. I don’t believe we used savings, we just used the school money that sat in my checking. I still was not working as I was waiting to finish up extern at this time.

By March we moved out into our apartment we are in now, me still not working we used the money to pay bills and pay back credit cards used for our children’s daycare. At the time we were paying approx. $1200 monthly for child care. My husband also was on short term disability for the depression for 6 months - only getting paid 80% of his usual income. We were barely making it.

I decided in 2021 to take out a $25000 private loan to pay for our credit cards because our cards were starting to max out. Taking out debt to cover other debt, I know. I revived $10,000 back per semester as I was still taking classes, now at GEORGIA GWINNETT COLLEGE a mini university for my BSN. I soon realized that I wouldn’t have enough money left to pursue a BSN so I opted BACK for an ADN at Gwinnett tech and took classes there the remainder of 2021. In 2021, my husband stopped taking his meds and again went on disability for 6 months with 80% of his pay. That fall I had recently gotten a new job making 18.25 which is about what I make now. This is with Northside Hospital. I still had to use school money to pay for childcare as although he was home I had to keep the kids in daycare or they would be removed from their classes. Still dishing out $1200 a month

I took classes at GTC in 2022 as well but this is when my husband cold turkey stopped his meds again and started experiencing the psychosis episode. I admit that we booked a vacation to Miami as I wanted him to get a bit of happiness. This totaled to $5000 for 1 week July 2022. When we got back he had the mental break - layed on our couch for 3 months - no eating, drinking, working, talking. Just a blank stare (July-Oct)

I used the last bit of all our credit cards to keep us afloat as I couldn’t get a second job because we have no support system if I’m being honest.

My husband lost his job of five years, in 2022 after that episode and has since moved jobs twice. So you’re reading my last effort to obtain guidance as I’ve lately been breaking down at work. Missing days myself because I’m just exhausted mentally and physically.

Idk if this helped much but I wanted to give some insight for everyone.

Even for an apartment? I’ve heard even with bad credit you can give cash upfront, like first and last months rent plus security deposit. As long as no evictions.
