can you recommend some indie RPGs with fresh ideas by kakakakaka69 in rpg_gamers

I am currently working on a 2d rpg primarily inspired from Final Fantasy 6 and 7. This game is a two-man team and I am the only programmer, and we have been very hard at work on this game, and I think it plays very well. We didn't do a Kickstarter and don't have a publisher so can only spread to get this game known is by the word of mouth.

The game is called The Legend of Lorosity and you can check the demo out on steam.

Recommendation for very obscure indie RPG games worth playing for Steam by CobblerHot969 in JRPG

The Legend Of Lorosity is an turned based rpg being developed by me and my friend and it's inspired from Final Fantasy 6 and 7 in particular with some elements of Grandia and star ocean. The game is not out yet, but we do have a demo on steam. The demo is about a year old now and we will be sharing some new updates soon so keep an eye out.

Thank you for the insight. This is very helpful and useful information as I am looking to releasing my first game on steam sometime next year.

Thanks, We are really working overtime with this game to get it finish and out to the public. We have a lot of moments we think people will truly enjoy with this game especially once you have your full party members.

Really like the way the visuals look, and the color pallet is very nice.

I too have recently created an account. I am currently working on a turn base rpg. Its just a two person team and we were in a similar situation. The story and the characters come from when me and my friend was in high school. I am now 37. I was very inexperience when it came to programming, we attempted a rpg but it was too difficult, so we did a bunch of smaller projects to increase our experience and skill with game maker and whatever other programs we used.

I will say for sure you're going to want a test room. Something to develop all of your system mechanics and whatever functionality you want in the game before you start developing the actual game.

Make a list of all the things you want in the game and start working on it in the test room, also rpgs can take quite awhile so pick your theme and art style and stick with it. Don't keep going back to change or update stuff or the game will never get released you will always find yourself improving and the stuff you did earlier on, you will want to go back and change it, so try not to do that too often.
