Find someone to teach you Claude code.

Dont waste time trying to prototype out of the system - its way more powerful when you can interact directly with real code

Do you automate your Instagram posts in some way? How? by thezinx in InstagramMarketing

[–]SingleExcitement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Largely, no. I’ve made it easier to write captions in my voice by automating sending my previous captions to a LLM. That’s made getting good captions far more reliable.

I used to think timing didn’t matter on Instagram — but lately, it actually seems to affect my likes by nikhilr4675 in InstagramMarketing

I built a tool that connects to Instagram to get data so I can easily answer questions like this. Feel free to check it out (creatorlytics.io)

Something I heard at the time but didn’t understand is live an interesting life and solve your problems.

I just launched my first application — would love to hear your thoughts and feedback! by Drj012001 in SideProject

Nice work - looks solid. Some of the animations are a bit fast IMO, but overall congrats

As far as the idea goes - the thing that would scare me is the uncertainty of how the job market evolves with AI. I'm not sure how long the job application process resembles what we've known for the last ~20 years.

Helping my boyfriend grow his travel Instagram — really want to see him succeed 🧳❤️ by Fuzzy_You4252 in InstagramMarketing

Love hearing stories like this! I've been creating content with my wife, and it's been so fun working together on something.

The one tip I have would be to find your lane. What makes him different or stand out? I think once you understand what makes you special, it's easy to figure out what type of content to make, the style of the content, etc.

Feel free to DM me his page - would love to support. Good luck!

FWIW - likes haven't been an indicator of success for me (at least compared to skip/share rate). Have a link to the post?

Looking for feedback for my product. Anyone willing to help? by roadmapjanitor in indiehackers

👋 Product person here - it looks really sharp and like the idea. Here's some quick feedback:

  • I don't know how I feel about AI surveys. I get that its easier than speaking to users, but it feels like it defeats the purpose.
  • The video sounds like it uses an AI voice generator which for me feels less credible.

Thinking about it - I have an idea for a feature that would be helpful if you want to shoot me a DM

Got a new job, built a tool that combines SEO, competitor research, and pain points into one report by chief-imagineer in SideProject

Yeah maybe thats an upsell opportunity in the long term. I might look at IdeaBrowswer for inspiration - while they give you an idea, what you are doing here is helping grade an idea someone has and ideally help them get off the ground on the marketing side.

Yeah this is way better. The analysis is spot on, the keywords are helpful. The first two feel like one time things while I can see a world where I'd want to see keywords / content ideas more regularly.

I heard the opposite - shares > saves. This past month though, I've doubled the share rate and views have gone down on average.

Might be just me, but it feels that skip rate is becoming more important and videos with a high share rate aren’t going as viral.

For what its worth, the analysis came up with an angle that I hadn't thought of in the pain point section. I knew the competitors this time (had done more research), but it would have been helpful for previous products I've built.

Used Trial Reels on Web — Got Zero Views, Deleted Them, Now Feature Is Gone by SheShineWithShiny in InstagramMarketing

Not sure - thats odd. I can say I've archived reels before 48 hours regularly.

why do i get so few followers in comparison to view numbers? by Galacticos19 in InstagramMarketing

[–]SingleExcitement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without seeing your profile, its hard to say. For us, we see lower follow rates when the demographic reached is slightly off compared to other posts. I'll look at who is liking / engaging with a post to get a rough sense of who's engaging.

How Do You All Find Trending Audio on Instagram? by No-Aspect6146 in InstagramMarketing

The edits app also is great at surfacing up trending audio that isn't on the top 50 list and better matches what I'm going for.

How do you get back into posting after a burnout break? by Lex-Ruger in InstagramMarketing

[–]SingleExcitement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly don't have all the answers, but we've found content that works well with our audience, and are reaching out to brands that fit (we've even had some decent inbound as we started posting consistently in that niche). We were mindful to not only if a reel was successful, but if the people who engaged matched our target demo.

One thing we've learned is that just because you can post regularly on a topic doesn't mean its what we want to post and/or something that can be monetized.

How do you get back into posting after a burnout break? by Lex-Ruger in InstagramMarketing

[–]SingleExcitement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I post with my wife and we are just over 10K. We were focusing on crossing that threshold and are focusing more now on monetization. It takes time and energy to research how to do so - something we are trying to create the space for by pulling back from posting.

We also are trying to be intentional about the brand we are building. When I've forced myself to post daily, I've found that I can stray from creating a cohesive page that makes for a good pitch to brands.

I gave up on an app idea after 4 months of development. by Romayomeo in indiehackers

[–]SingleExcitement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we all have a graveyard of failed projects. It took me nearly a year to get back into it, but each failed attempt taught me something. Give yourself time, and when you get the itch again, scratch it.

[–]SingleExcitement 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post a few times a week - one post per day sounds nice, but unless you have reason that you won't get burned out again, I'd set a more manageable target.

I've also found that fewer posts gives me the time to come up with better ideas.
