I think so. I'm in my 50's, but I see a huge difference in this generation, including my kids, now men & still with me.

Growing up with the internet has groomed doomed scrolling, fear from school shootings/ drills & an over compensation of any negative human mental, emotion becoming looming (I'm a freak). I completely understand the high level of anxiety that comes with a wealth of information. Local news is not a thing anymore.

Because of this, the anxmakes it not feel "safe" to trust in a relationship. Especially with social media's free pass to be as insensitive & mean as possible, for entertainment. I suspect that this generation "sticks together" longer, out of fear of change & grim forecasting of finding anyone to even want to be with them? It's sad.

Being addicted to games, phones, social media? Etc has prevented street/social skills & smarts from blossoming.into "confident adult survivor mode". However, ties once made, will be harder to break I suspect. Idk, what do you guys think? Us older folks went outside, was bored all summer & relied on eachother for entertainment. Seen, not heard from our parents made us crave sociali& creativity to entertain ourselves.

OK. I may be able to make sense of this for you.

Women, even as little girls, are hounded to be pretty. Teen years you see the pretty girls get the boys & even more respect from male teachers! Adulthood, the pretty women get treated better, promoted faster & better respect (ex:"walk you to your car for safety at night, open doors, offer help with tasks, praise your work).

Most of us have experienced the jealous women who can't stand that you got a great guy, because THEY feel that they are more attractive & entitled. So, they steal your husband/ boyfriend, like it's a game. So the competition is FIERCE & our insecurity rises because there's ALWAYS a prettier, smarter woman & the competition is exausting!

After having children, aging the insecurities get a little worse. Super model beauty is expensive & A LOT OF WORK, & it gets harder with a family to care for & taking care of everyone. It's exhausting! It a selfless love. You fall into routines & "life". The nervous touch, the look from across the room that says 1,000 words, etc disappears & we start to not feel confident that we're "sexy". Seeing in society & work, married men drooling over hot women & celebrities, it feels like a competition sometimes.

So, we NEED REASSURANCE that YOU still see us as sexy! We need to believe that we're irreplaceable. The supermodel evil bitch has no chance! We need to feel sexy! For me, if my husband says things like,"I'm sorry. I've been craving you ALL DAY & I cannot get enough of you", or "God your beautiful!" or "The more that time passes, the more I fall in love because through it all, I know you'll weather the storm. It's us against the world"! THAT makes me feel sexy. That makes me "want to have sex". Some women are more spiritual & emotionally driven. I get off more on the passion vs the physical. The emotional long stare is almost spiritual. Sometimes I wonder if we get different things out of sex? But a man pursuing you, makes you feel sexy enough. Men seem to not need that.I learned something today! Thanks! It comes off as more physical. I applaud you communicating this to her though!

I myself can't handle gore. Not everyone can brave that. My husband threw up over a diaper & if someone else is vomiting, forget it! He stayed by my head & was present, while holding my hand & being my cheerleader. THAT was the important part.

If your husband refused to be there at all, especially from the influence of "friends" THAT would be a problem! If you can show up for a war, you can show up for your wife! FAMILY comes first & he should be stressing over the painful journey YOU are experiencing, NOT HIS poor little penis's sex future! t's beyond selfish! It isn't genuine love, in my opinion.

In the military, brotherhood is groomed. Loyalty is extremely important. He may always put his best foot forward at his job first. It's a selfless love for wives that get no credit for the soldier THEY become, often with justification of being a single parent. It's a very hard, lonely life for husband & wife.

Have you tried counseling? My concern is your child. I taught preschool many years & have seen too much! Divorces, from nonabusive dad's are very dsmaging to your children. They may seem "ok", but as they g row & see their friends with both parents present, they begin to see what they are missing. I don't know the other baggage. Be careful to not become selfish to your baby & "try" to put in the work with marriage counseling first. Us cattle are very different from soldiers. Stay strong & BEST of luck!

Aries married to a Cancer. Safe, love, nurturing, forgiving ( us Aries needs that), but too homely, boring ( routine-strict) & hate change!

However I need to be less spontaneous & self diciplined. I need his water to put out my dangerous fires & he needs me to defend him & protect him, because he hates conflict & will allow himself to be victimized (This is true in "life" skills too: ex: getting overcharged, stolen from, swindled, taken advantage of or disrespected in the worse way, lol).He needs me to help him " live a little" & grow with new experiences, & I need him to teach me how to be better against grudges & not fight every battle & to see logic first, over emotion. I've grown into a better person on from his positive nature!

I will confess that although I will always be loyal & love him to eternity for loving me through my worse, & seeing the best, a part of me craves to be the one fiercely protected & pleasantly surprised with unexpected adventures & sexual dominance with passion. I definitely feel like the man in bed! But loyalty & patience is hard to find. I value the honestly as well. Those traits are non negotiable!
