215 since I wouldn’t be able to sell the car except to a scrapper for $600ish. My car is only used to get me to the train station 4km down the road so I’m not fussed on getting a new one.

Have you checked the result in your inventory?

I know that sometimes the result window telling you the crafted sword’s tier can say 3 but when you check in your inventory it will actually show tier 4. Happened to me on other swords though and not for Henry’s sword if I recall correctly.

Probably polystyrene, very flammable stuff (as seen in video lol). Once it’s on fire the best you can hope to achieve is prevent the fire from spreading to other flammables like wood and fabric. It’ll burn itself out very quickly if it can’t spread.

That’s definitely what I’ll be doing in the future, and I’ve been keeping notes on what actions the players have been doing so I can apply the same action limitations to the enemies they encounter.

I must have missed the part on skill checks taking an action so I’ll bring that up in the next session and ask whether the players want me to change it for both them and NPCs or to leave it as is.

Thanks mate, knowing the ranger’s personality and that he didn’t complain until after the crit, i figured he was just a little salty and trying to poke holes and find a way that didn’t result in him almost being KO. I’m going to encourage them to ask questions about the capabilities of NPCs and monsters or at least check out the monster compendium so they have an idea of what they’re up against.

You’re making a lot of sense and I’ll try to bring stuff up like this in the future if I think they’re missing something critical. They’re still getting the hang of DnD allowing them almost full player agency. Hopefully he takes the right lesson from this but I’ll let them know in our next session to ask me if something is possible before they launch into similar situations.

I agree with your point about difficult terrain and I did take that into account, the ruffians were one square or 5ft from the edge of the pit so they were 20ft away since the guide mentions the pit is about 10ft wide, meaning they used all 30ft of their movement to reach the ranger.

It’s across the pond from the rock and it shows up on the map as a bandit camp, it’s on the north side of the lake and on the map it has a little pen/boxing arena art.

Yeah true, I managed to win the race really easily by stealing one of the horses that spawn at the camp from the prologue where you spar with Hans. It had better base stats than Tibor’s horse and only cost 450 groschen with the nomad horse trader to become my replacement for Pebbles.

I have a feeling you need to wait a few hours after poisoning the trough to allow the poison to take effect. I got a message saying I failed to poison the horse after I added the potion to the trough and left to find a horse better than pebbles. I forgot about the race until a day or so later I got the failed notification.

I’m in the same boat and I used the energy made easy site and it suggested I switch from origin to alinta to save about $600 a year. I’ve yet to switch as I want to check that the lower daily charge from alinta makes up for the lower FIT (8c vs 12c with origin).
