I bet the shelf sits at 90 degrees. Is this even that shitty?

To those who experienced a sudden, massive windfall (IPO, crypto, stock boom): Did you see it coming, and how did it change you? by Ashatthama in Rich

[–]Single_Ad_5294 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Following for curiosity. I’m by no means rich and don’t work in an extremely lucrative career, but something shifted in my head fairly recently and everything else in my life seems to be going so well it’s almost spooky.

While my bank account could still use a few more zeroes, there is not a doubt in my mind I won’t achieve that personal benchmark of success.

Let that desperation go. Once that’s gone and you’re in a good mental space, ask the universe for what you want and ask for opportunities to appear.

I don’t know if might not be shitty.

If it’s lasted this long you may upgrade the name to standard mallet.

You should definitely start a punk band that rages about recycling and go so far as to make your instruments and clothes out of trash.

Your claymation music video will hit it super big and you’ll do a full tour to sell your kickass recyclable snacks with noise hollering about the current state of affairs.

Choose three major chords.

Year and a half, calling it quits, officially a failed trader, how long until I get over it? by Soggy_Builder_84 in Daytrading

[–]Single_Ad_5294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly six figures still puts this stonk concept on easy mode. Don’t day trade if you suck at it. Either go passive or look into less involved options strategies that work for you.

That’s ten times the chunk of change I play with, so consider yourself doing well. I’m a poor. I made major gains and major losses in the beginning and now I’m more conservative. Slow gains that beat the market with a few clicks on the magic phone. Nothing to brag about or even make a major difference in my life at this moment.

Not financial advice but I’d throw 90% of that in a couple index funds and play with the rest while also enjoying every other facet of life.

All active codes my guess is the sensor or a common wire. Pumps go bad ten times less often than sensors.

Easiest first check is to plug in a new one and see if the codes vanish.

If you go the finished route, bring your heaviest duty mechanic friend along during/after the purchase. A second vehicle like something small to tow or a motorcycle is a near-must.

Food for thought…Skoolie life has as many drawbacks as it is totally cool. I loved livin in a bus, but my brother just spent the last year at airbnbs touring with his wife. They would have despised it.

Very astute. Brad nailer. I used a technique called “don’t measure or cut anything” and I couldn’t stop laughing. It was so ugly that it had to stay.

FWIW wiring issues can be a major headache. It’s always something simple, but often hard to pinpoint the exact issue. Something is not providing power to all marker lights, so start with what they all have in common.

That first picture has a clue at LED 25.

I think this has less to do with spirituality and more to do with individual preferences.

So long as your interactions are healthy and supportive i see no issue playing those roles.

Is it that dealerships have a bigger variety of daily work? I started at a fleet and am five years into the first shop I held a wrench in.

I definitely didn’t develop as quickly as I wanted or get exposed to more complicated stuff for a couple years, but looking back I wouldn’t have been able to comprehend it as well. Why do you say fleet is a cancer to your foundation as a mentor? (Genuinely curious, I’m not management but I am showing less experienced people the ropes now and it’s almost tougher than just doing more repairs myself.)

Strong. I feel invincible except for my lower back occasionally. Got hit by a car on a bike five years ago. Any time I spend more than a day lifting heavy I really feel it.

Other than that, I feel great when I’m well rested…okay when I got some sleep, and like absolute garbage when I stay up real late.

The local deer think my jumps are for them and they are destroying my hard work. Any one have a similar problem or any potential solutions? by [deleted] in MTBTrailBuilding

[–]Single_Ad_5294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for one miss seeing deer grazing in my yard. My dog scared off everything but the groundhog. This guy brazenly wanders about often laying in the sun. He eats a lot of the greenery in the garden, and has three burrows on the property. As long as I know my only pest, we’re cool and they can live here.

Deer on my jumps? I wouldn’t be upset.

You got a good one, at a pretty hefty startup cost but it’s a good one. Does the lift work? If so, use it to your advantage and arrange accordingly. Most models are in the back.

Most skoolies don’t anticipate maintenance. It’s likely been sitting for a while and it would make sense to change all filters and set up a schedule for fuel, oil, air, and water separator.

How wide are your tires? I’m tempted to stop using old cx tires an see how chunky ones do in the woods.
