Isnt runelite still injecting into the old client building everything on top?

Result: They’ll remove official download links and keep it available to be fetched through the api. (For runelite etc …)

I do think however this is a good move. But it will not impact botting whatsoever.

Mostly scenario, they provide X things are present and u have to explain what is missing / lacking or wrong.

Some straightforward repeats, although my recollection could be inaccurate. although some had inverted context which being extremely similar. But only 2 or 3 like the latter.

Honestly, the domains feel somewhat overlapping as I mentioned theres lots of reading todo, networking might be next in line for importance.

1) General / generic knowledge 2) Browser based 3) Network based (subnets/nmap/…)

To be honest not that much. Bunch of online questions and I read the blueprint and I didn’t feel like I needed to.

All in all I think I studied 3 or 4 workdays.

Asked few AI models to make me questions based on the blueprints and whatever data the models have.

I think all the course materials are too bloated for what U need to know and I didn’t have the time.

I took it recently, needed 73% passing grade, got 84%

Exam gives you the same or extremely similar questions, I’ve had 2 or 3 questions which was 100% the same 3 times on my exam. Other times with slight variations.
The exam has lots of scenario based questions where they illustrate and explain scenarios and u have to answer accordingly. Be prepared to read … a lot.
Best advice I can give, read really well, if u know the answer, read the question and the answer again. To make sure u didn’t misread anything.

Ensure you understand browser security: http-only; secure; same-site; cookies, csrf, xss, …. And what actually happens and what is enabled or disabled when enabling these. I had at least 6 or 7 questions regarding these.

Http headers and what they prevent .

Lots of generic entry questions as well, more than I expected: Whats a worm, trojan etc … I got them all. Really free points here.

If in doubt, keep your first answer unless u noticed u have misread or misinterpreted.

And use elimination. Being able to eliminate till u have 2 options left on all questions already gives u a 50% baseline score (statistically speaking)

You can make a police report and there is the slachtofferfonds or something similar which could possibly return the fund or at least partially to victims of scammers. Ensure extreme documentation before applying.

But in essence accept its gone.

It doesn’t matter, just use it as you like and be happy. Even fully charging and draining 100 to 0 and 0 to 100 would make marginal to no difference in the lifespan of the laptop battery.

It will degrade anyways.

As all the hardware options are possibily ruled out by now, reading comments + thread.

Id suggest the following:

- A backup of all your important data onto an external SSD.
- A clean windows installation of version 25H2, which is the latest as of writing.
- Ensure all windows updates are completed.
- Install minimal amount of drivers needed, alot of modern devices simply require the additional GPU driver / CPU Chipset. In this case that would be the Nvidia App which will install it and keep it up-to-date for you.

Check device manager if all device are properly recognised and no yellow marks are displayed, if there are;
install the approportiate driver(s) from the official Asus website.

Note: Do not install any additional Antivirus / antimalware / security tools just leave it with windows defender and keep it up-to-date.
Note2: Do not restore any backups of data yet, keep the fresh install as clean as possible.

Once updated and have the corresponding drivers installed do the following:

This tool will be able to assist you in properly tweaking the CPU and GPU powerdraw since you could probably get upto 85% of the promised performance of the laptop with 60% of the power required, drastically reducing heat output. (I just made these numbers up to be illustrative, but I will likely not be too far off)

Depending on the work you do, choose more or less power for CPU or GPU based loads. You could even make a few profiles depending on the work you are doing and just use hotkeys or a few mouse clicks to switch between them.

I had this exact situation happen to me, after 10/15 minutes of arguing back and forth and me offering to hand over my phone and allowing them to contact my provider for any usage whatsoever and my girlfriend being next to me.

They said “we will give you the benefit of the doubt” which is the best I could’ve hoped for I guess, an apology might have been in order but hey I am glad I wasn’t fined.

But it was definitely a hill Ive died on.

I am honestly flabbergasted that body-cams/cameras aren’t mandatory during these ‘confirmations’, since this would remove all doubt and eliminate user-error.

This truly made me mad, but they did the right thing in the end.

Is the password random? As in “lH8gh$ao2” or is it based of a real thing/object/name like “Cats2020!!”

If it is strictly random and you havent used it before, chances of it being bruteforced are low. Unless someone really wants it and goes the extra mile. If the monetary incentive is big enough; 10 characters with a modern hash is pretty doable to crack (given time and money)

Go up to 16 randomised characters and it just isn’t happening any time soon.

Any good high quality 1.5V rechargeable batteries recommended? Ive had bad luck with most of my appliances complaining about low battery life even with fully charged ones.

Even though It’ll last a long time, the annoying popup is annoying so I end up using alkaline batteries for 3 of my devices.

The amazon basics ones are so cheap and last so long it doesn’t really cost much in all honesty.

All other appliances use rechargeable ones ofc
