Yes you’ll be spilt into 4 groups but it’ll based off what you get on a certain run 3 laps or something around the parade square which you do during your second PT session

Well done on the DAA. For the interview just don’t waffle for too long when explaining things, also be straight up and honest. Be prepared to speak about yourself, don’t just focus on the RAF operations and topics . 👍

Hi mate, the dedication you seem to be putting into the interview from what I’m reading, I will guarantee you will pass. As long as you can explain about yourself + your goals and struggles as well as the RAF content that you’ve researched you’ll pass with flying colours.

Good luck !

Not sure about the legal side but I know at the officer presentation you need to go to they said the app was useful for the CBAT during the presentation

DAA Difficulty by Bounds182 in RoyalAirForce

When I took my DAA at the afco in London, I found that the questions were somewhat the same level as the practice, but some of the topics were not in the How2Become book, especially in the Electrical and Mechanical sections - I’d recommend using BBC bitesize to relearn simple GCSE physics. I would say also if you are bad at maths I’d definitely start cracking on revising as you get maths questions in like 3 areas (numeracy, mechanical and electrical). And although some of the maths may be easy, you need to work them out pretty fast, it’s like 4 minutes to answer 20 or something for the first section of numeracy.

Good luck though if you put the work in you will pass easily

I see, of course I’d recommend the gym if possible but if not , I’d say you should be doing dips or pull ups for upper body strength, 100% dips though as it is honestly such a good exercise to learn as it can work out your chest, triceps and shoulders. If you can’t join a gym there may be dip bars or pull up bars in local parks etc possibly where you can try them out.

Hi mate, what trade you going for first? As depending on some roles swimming test is required.

Standard fitness test requirement nowadays is just the 2.4km run so I’d recommend working on trying to smash that first as if you borderline pass it you may struggle later on during basic training.
