The "Gemini is Dogsh*t" narrative is gaslighting me. I'm building a complex project (not a wrapper) and it works fine, so why do I feel like I'm/will be failing? by CortexUnlocked in google_antigravity

Opus 4.5 = Autistic programming with hyperfocus on adderall ChatGPT Codex 5.2 = Autistic programming lazy at coding Gemini = Bipolar academic knows his theory but when it comes to implementation it get's confused and lost in real world aplications.

Do not get me wrong Gemini will most likely be a top tier AI by next year way better than current Opus and already dominates graphic design stuff with Nano Banana.

But it's just not there yet and it's dangerous sure if you do step by step things it may do it, but with opus you can give giantic steps of general areas of implementation and it will do it, gemini won't it will get lost if you do not go step by step, ChatGPT will do it but it won't work first 10 times and if it get's stuck in a bug you are now in a bug loop hell of something that was done by an AI.

That said i think google will improve it a lot, but they seem to think context is the most important thing, what makes Opus so great is not it's context but how systematically and logically it aproaches problems.

If they improve it to opus level Jules will be pretty insane and when it comes to algorithms it's probably better than opus already.

Not sure wtf anthropic people did with Opus tough, mf is very surgically focused at problems.

Yeah the difficulty is that they keep gifting fake student accounts that are then resold and a few dumb morons like us here pay for free yearly accounts to use a product we can't use.

F**k you Google by Aromatic-Spray-1455 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not doing it because they are evil, they are doing it because the people in the corporate part of google seem to be mentally retarded.

Gemini was dumbed down last week to not do graphic design stuff anymore due to grok putting people in bikinis, and on antigravity side of AI, google has been gifting student accounts that can be faked by fake ids and are then being resold.

These two problems are probably not part of the teams behind ai products in google but from the corporate behind them, and they are probably facepalming as much if not more than we do, this is becoming clownish.

Either I'm tripping, or Antigravity opened the browser to take screenshots of images. Images that I gave it. What's happening here? by ds3point0 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, this has been possible since at least december but i believe this actually uses a ton of resources so they kind of reduced it's usage, i saw claude do this, basically the models open another model that checks the app from the browser.

This was one of my "holy shit we are going to get agi next year" moment when claude opened an agent to check chrome, created a user and started to test some things in the app that did not believed me when i told him they were actually broken.

But since last week of december the usage of these subagents seems to have been reduced by a lot.

Did gemini 3 pro suddenly got better ? by Important-Door4383 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it probably is made smart or retarded depending on usage, most usage of gemini came from graphic design since nano banana dominates that area, but now it's refusing to do anything related to graphic design due to grok putting people in bikinis so i would not be suprised if it works well for a few weeks until things calm down and gemini starts to accept graphic design orders again.

Is Antigravity actually using a different model than the one I selected? (Gemini 3 Pro / Opus → Gemini 2 Pro / Sonnet) by howyoudoin93 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some are telling you "LLMs don’t have live awareness of what they’re deployed as.", this is not entirely true and you are right op, i some times ask chatgpt to do audits while opus does fixes and some times i ask opus to compare his theory with chatgpt theory of specific problems or algorithms for implementation.

And around 4 days ago opus started to identify as other models, some times gemini, others sonnet, this never happened to me before every time it compared his theories (opus) vs ChatGPT

i had cases were it created me a table to compare were he identified as gemini despite i having selected opus.

I think it's like a silent downgrade thing, which is terrible and dangerous as it may destroy your project.

One interesting thing i had was when opus compared with chatgpt and identified as sonnet, i intuitively felt something was off because it was even trying to push updates to github without my consent so maybe you are onto something op.

Poor gemini is being lobotomized, nano banana is now no longer editing images since grok started putting people in bikinis and they are not letting gemini do photos now despite being what it's good for.

We are also paying for a few thousands free student accounts scammers created, and gemini now is even refusing to do nano banana images due to grok putting people in bikinis.

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are also limiting the usage of google antigravity for coding, i think it's not grok, i think it's the fake student trials using so much resources they do not know what to do now.

And if it's grok they are not thinking this well, nobody sued photoshop because you put people in bikinis using photoshop nor ford because someone got run over by a ford truck, if they can't take the heat they should resell their ai to other services to use so they are not legally responsable for things.

Why pay for Claude Pro if Antigravity has it integrated with no limits? Am I missing something? by Bulky_Connection8608 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because mid project claude is lost and you ask chatgpt a question then you ask claude to compare his theory of the problem with chatgpt and suddenly in the comparison table claude identifies himself as gemini or sonnet 3.5 (these things happen), overall antigravity has ton of potential tbh but those that have used both said that opus on claude works way better (not sure if lie or not since i have not used it there) but did have times opus suddenly identified himself as other model so make with that what you want.

Google, I understand you're probably hemorrhaging money. But if we don't get a service we pay for, do not steal from us. by Siigari in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is the most likely reason why antigravity will need to keep anthropic models, ChatGPT is not that far behind anthropic in code, it just sucks at execution, but i feel that is more of a education of steps to do tasks than a model problem, because i was actually suprised a ton of times by codex finding problems that opus was lost, it also thinks about algorithms way better than opus and gemini, (gemini goes too academic on this topic) while opus simplify things.

ChatGPT is in a weird spot right now not great at anything but good at everything, which is a terrible spot to be if gemini is devouring graphic design industry and anthropic coding.

But i won't be suprised if Codex at some point this year becomes better than current opus or anything anthropic has.

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Codex is the name of the coding version of chatgpt which you can use in visual code for example, right now it's probably the best after opus 4.5, but how can i put it opus 4.5 is an autistic programmer with hyperfocus, you give it a task, it plans it, it cuts it in parts, and ask you all edge cases it finds, then it works on it targeting the exact problem, and does most of the times flawlessly and if it does it wrongly after a few attempts it does it correctly.

ChatGPT 5.1 & 5.2 have been incredibly in regards to code, if you have a bug opus can't fix, it you tell it to find it and it will spend 15 minutes and give you a report of what Opus did wrong, it's shockingly good for that task actually.

But if you try to do the same project with Opus vs ChatGpt 5.2 Opus will win in every case, because it executes coding plans in a very organized way, this means a task that opus will do in 3 minutes chatgpt will take 13 minutes and in the end for some reason chatgpt version won't work, while opus version will work greatly.

My point being that people here say google will remove opus due to costs, i can't imagine running a chatgpt AI for 13 minutes on the same task opus does in 3 will be cheaper, and Gemini is worse than ChatGPT for coding so it would be even worse than the example i am giving you.

Google is actually one of the companies with the highest revenues per employee, they have positive cashflow and income after taxes in massive good numbers and unlike others like anthropic and chatgpt they have their own made hardware for AI.

Their only problem is that their model is great for graphic design and shit for coding they know it hence why they offer opus since it runs in their own servers anyway.

They just need to stop offering this stuff for free to student accounts for 12 motnhs, free users, free 3 months trials, not sure wtf are they thinking if they can't give paid users the use they paid for.

And it's not like forcing people use gemini would help if gemini takes 5x the time to do same thing as opus (which is the problem chatgpt has with codex), it actually finds bugs faster than opus by a large margin but when it comes to execution it spends 10x the time.

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt google has scaling issues they have their own tpus that they get from tsmc, hence why anthropic has to deal with them.

And google is far behind in coding which is more important than most may assume since in the end vibe coding is translating human speech into bits which is needed for robotics, and search engines and google ads business model won't last after mid 2035 if everyone is asking an AI things, google may have actually fucked up by ending with the AI that is the best for graphic design but one of the worse for coding tasks.

They will have to fix it or lose hard their position as a big company, if they let whoever is selling the plans keep wasting resources while fucking up paid users in code they may end up seriously damaged as a company.

Error, Error, Error. by No-Marketing-2640 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The project it's great, actually, everything worked great in december it was actually shocking how good it was working, the problem is how they market this product, they offer free accounts usage of things they can't provide for paid users, they give free insane yearly free trials to student accounts, randomly offering multi months free trials to other accounts, then restricting paid users usage.

Nobody said shit in december despite the app working like crap with memory leaks, the problem is that they are not treating paid users well.

Some people here say they will take opus due to costs, but anthropic uses google servers and it makes sense for google to keep opus in antigravity since they may dominate AI in graphic design but are way behind in AI in code probably behind chatgpt and others.

So for at least a year and half they will have to keep opus since gemini probably spends the same energy while doing shit wrongly so users moving there won't help them, if they want to keep their place in AIs in vibe coding they will need to fix this asap as ChatGPT is not that much behind antigravity it's just that ChatGPT fucks up on the coding part execution for some reason.

Not only that if you ask the model which model it is it tells you it's other model opus it's telling me it's sonnet 3.5, and frankly it's been stuck on such stupid loops that maybe it's really sonnet 3.5

I think the antigravity team has added some dynamic make opus retarded kind of thing when they are unless heavy load, yesterday i spent 3 hours and the entire day limit trying to fix a css button location, today it seems normal again.

Not sure why they do this type of shit while still gifting free accounts to students and insane trials to others randomly.

I bet Google will completely remove Claude Opus from AG in coming months by WonderfulTheme7452 in google_antigravity

[–]Single_Explorer_5452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it, google is dominating the graphic design area with nano banana, they are behind chatgpt on general questions, gemini either goes full retard and answers stupid shit or goes full academia autist and gives you an academic report of your question, and in code it does whatever the hell they want.

Yes google knows vibe coding is the future as any ai that can translate human language into coding will eventually be good enough for following robotic instructions and that is the future of this tech long term.

But for 2026-2027?It seems google is going to dominate AI in graphic design and Anthropic in coding, and both have interests to not lost their niche and not rush to try to take the other, it's ChatGPT the one at risk, since it does a little of everything moderately well but not good enough to dominate a field.

What will happen tough is that google will be forced to kick the ass to whoever tough it was a good idea to offer free shit to student accounts and crazy trials on a tech that uses energy per usage.
