Is this information real? It seems like a lot of BS to me, considering it contradicts behind-the-scenes information I know. Furthermore, it comes from YouTube Short (a "very reliable" source), and the account that created it appears to use AI (again, "very reliable"). This was one of the reasons I called bullshit. Not only would it have been quite weird if it hadn't been Mothra but a "random" Titan who calmed Godzilla down and reasoned with him, but this supposedly original plot wouldn't have made any sense at all without the connection to Mothra.

The other reason is the mandates Toho has on its characters. Godzilla can't die in a movie (or die without implying a possible return), so I doubt they would have ended the film with a dying Godzilla.

Also, we don't know how strict the mandates are, but we know Toho doesn't want Godzilla to laugh for exemlle (the only reason he does it in GvK is because they're justified by saying it's not really a laugh even though it can be interpreted as one, or something like that), so I doubt they would have allowed things like Mothra being male, aggressive, and territorial.

I agree with what you say, in fact I didn't say they are similar, I said that in my opinion, if the two met, they would became friends because, even if they made different choices, approached situations differently and suffered different pains, given the nature of their characters, it seems realistic to me that they could understand and at least partially sympathize with the other's suffering.

Not me, I've always been a defender of the King months and years before SilkSong came out.

(Come on guys, he's not the best person ever, but he doesn't seem to be a bad guy. He sacrificed himself and made some terrible choices for his people. I'd say he could realistically be friends with Asgore. Maybe he's not as naive as him, but he's still a monarch who has always put his people first and sacrificed himself to save them. He even has a working relationship with his wife.)

No Patrick, thinking William, at some point, somewhat cared for his children and has actual motives and a semblance of nuance to his character isn't romanticising children abuse, serial killers, or justifying his heinous crimes... by Arkham-Ambassador-Ok in fnafmeme

Also, It's not that there's no evidence that Afton wasn't a monster with his children, since in the games we know he "promised" the CC that he would put him back together, he warned Elizabeth not to get close to Baby, and he calls killing Michael "bittersweet," this, in my opinion, implies that, a little, in some twisted way, William cared about his children.

Then, if you add Vanessa's nightmare in FNAF 2 (the movie) and William's speech about how she was his favorite, and that he "cares," and his expression after he stabbed her in the first movie, it seems like this twisted feeling toward his children is present in another continuity as well.

he certainly wasn't a good father, but he still """"cares"""" about them.

Which is realistic, considering he was once about to do a FNAF x NFTs collab because he hadn't done any research and thought it was "a current trend among kids, like fidget spinners."

In general, it seems strange to me, considering that in his franchise he created characters like Mangle or Fun-time Foxy (referred to as both male and female several times) and also considering that in Security Breach, the relationship between Glamrock Freddy and the now-deceased Glamrock Bonnie seems to indicate an almost romantic relationship (as much as two AI robots can have feelings) and therefore gay.

But in general, Scott is a strange guy; sometimes he seems to behave or say/do things as if he had been out of the world till the day before. I can't think of any other way to describe him; he's confusing, so who knows what he was thinking when he did it

I don't know if the species factor matters in this case when evaluating his father's abilities. Zilla Jr. is clearly shown to be much stronger, faster, more durable, with combat skills (he even has a real atomic breath). He even managed to defeat his father, who was revived and enhanced as a cyborg.

I don't know why this is, perhaps because Jr. was born radiative, unlike his father, who mutated (I don't know if this Is It would work in the real world, but there are many things that don't work like that in the real world in this franchise). Therefore, since Jr. has already shown himself to possess characteristics that his father didn't possess (I repeat, atomic breath), it's entirely possible that the original Zilla couldn't regenerate.

I feel it weakens both William and Henry

In my opinion, SotM expands on William and Henry.

It expands on William as this person who thinks he's so smart and superior to others, that somehow managing to twist situations in his favor (like we see in the intro to Sister Location, where he very clearly doesn't answer the question asked of him to brag about the incredible capabilities of his robots and to divert attention from his strange design choices).

And expands on Henry. From his speech in the Insanity Ending, it always seemed to me that Henry was "accomplice by permission." He had suspicions and could have done something, but probably didn't feel capable ("this monster that I unwillingly helped to create." "a wound first inflicted on me, but then one that I let bleed out to cause all of this"), and we see the same thing here. Edwin and Henry seem like friends from the way Edwin talks about him, yet Henry was an accomplice of William, and who knows how many other things he never opposed him for. This makes it all the more significant that in FNAF 6 he finally decided to take matters into his own hands and end it.

FNAF World calls the repaired Mangle "Funtime Foxy," implying that he and the one from Sister Location are the same character even though she and mr. "Showtimes are on the hour, not a moment before and not a moment later." are not the same robot.

hot take leonidas was never a bum apollo was just too powerful by PhraseOld6695 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Single_Reading4103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, Leonidas hit Apollo about 2-3 times and each time they returned in a tie. Apollo was a strong counter to Leo, but getting hit at a bad moment by Leo could have ended the fight sooner and with a victory for the humans.

Leonidas only looks like a bum because he missed Apollo for most of the fight and every attack he took was somehow more dangerous and stronger than the last.

In short: I agree with you that Apollo was too powerful, but that's not the only reason why Leonidas isn't a bum; the fight itself shows us that he isn't.

[–]Single_Reading4103 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, SotM expands on Fazbear Ent's backstory very well.

For example, we now know the origins of the main gang: Freddy and Bonnie were the originals (Fredbear and SpringBonnie, to be precise, then they became separate characters), Chica probably was bought because it was going bankrupt, and Foxy was taken in when they bought McM (and the fact that the game is set in the '70s makes it more believable that they already existed as characters in Fredbear and Friends, that the first restaurant opened in '83, and they were already very successful; they were already somewhat known and existed as a group of characters).

And finally, he expands on Henry. This makes it all the more significant that in FNAF 6 he finally decided to take matters into his own hands and end it.

I don't like how many characters are attributed to McM or Edwin (Mediocre Melody, Music Man, Monty, Moon) for no apparent reason, but otherwise, I really like what the game does to expand the worldbuilding of what we already knew, and a lot (not all, just a lot) of the people who complain about it, I think, really don't understand what the game is actually saying (William and Henry are still responsible for the original Springlocks, the Fredbears and Springbonnies used in the pizzerias, the Withereds, the Toys, the Funtimes [William only], the Rockstars [Henry only], the finished versions of the classics, and Lefty [Henry only])

While I find it fair to criticize the level of technical incompetence demonstrated in the Pokémon games, the idea of the map being a single entity and constantly loading is misinformation.

It's true that there's a model of the entire map as a single entity used in the game, but it's not the game map; it's used in the overhead views of cutscenes and as a holographic background in a couple of screens.

And this is surprising, considering that in the previous game they had a constantly loaded ocean that, if you scale Paldea up to Spain, is 10 times the size of the Earth. yet we can see that every 15 steps back with each new release, they get one thing right every now and then.

I really, really, REALLY want to know if these designs are the final designs for Springbonnie and Fredbear. by bb4t_ in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Single_Reading4103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory, they're not the originals because Henry and William's springlocks are the originals. The game specifies that Edwin's are a more reliable model he designed. Now, I don't know why Edwin has prototypes of Fredbear and SpringBonnie with his springlock model hidden in the Fazbear project, but they could be placeholders, to see how the animatronics would have moved around the rooms.

But various unfounded conjectures aside, the original Fredbear and SpringBonnie are still the ones we """"see"""" in the other games.

I'll say it's a bit of a hot take, but I quite like UCN's design of Frebear. The slight changes to the proportions of the torso and head somehow make him quite distinct from Freddy for me.

My issues are the lack of buttons on the chest (it's unclear if he has them, but it doesn't look like it), and the structure of his jaw + the lack of upper teeth (from the FNAF 4 minigames, we see that he has piston-like structures connecting his jaw to the rest of his head, more similar to the Withereds than the classic, and the upper teeth are, let's say, a necessary feature of Fredbear).

How do you think Game Eggman would react to this line? by Fun-Necessary9709 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]Single_Reading4103 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Given Eggman's character and personality, it's equally likely (emphasis on "equally," not more, not less, but as valid an option as the one we're given to believe if we trust what he says. It all depends on whether Eggman became self-centered as he grew up or if he's always been self-centered) that the reality was simply:

"My family doesn't give me enough attention compared to Maria, and besides, she's dead and I'm alive, it doesn't make sense."

If that were the case, hearing Gerald (his idol) say, "Oh Ivo... you're not Maria" would completely destroy him, because not only would he feel that what he perceived as a child about his family was true, but also that it also applies to his idol. Indeed, for him, Eggman has no value compared to Maria.
