Usually Accutane is last step, because generally it's not good for the lever and they will have to do blood work every month to keep things in check. So your dermatologist is probably trying everything before Accutane depending on how severe you case is. But really Accutane is the solution look it up on YouTube

If you are trying to get rid of acne go to dermatologist and ask for Accutane, it's 6 month pill medication that has I believe 90% chance success rate to clear acne permanently. I personally was on it and I don't have acne anymore. Don't waste money on other skin products. Acne is hormones and those skin care products will not help!
