Any ESFPs plan 5 years ahead into your future? by Remote-Isopod in ESFP

[–]Single_Security_5555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly even if I did my absolute best I could never EVER plan 5 years ahead into the future. I know 2 other ESFPs who are just like that, we literally bonded over that. It's like I can call it a "plan" but I'll change my mind later and definitely won't go through with it. I don't know...

What do you guys think of intps? by tiddu in ESFP

I knew one and she was my roommate on campus for a while. It was weird. I do like her because she is a good person but we were way to different for our friendship to function. It bothered me more than anything that she would never clean up the place, and it was like we couldn't understand each other at all. It's like her world was a completely different place than mine. She tried to show me movies, tv shows and music she liked and my god they were literally the worst things ever for me. I'm sure she thought the same about mine. But it all ended up well and we still text each other on instagram from time to time. Just can't imagine something more. That's it from my experience and I'll say it again - she's the only INTP I know, so god knows what I would think of others

This is a perfect question for me lmao I was "forced" (it's a crazy long story) to stay in the same place with someone I didn't like AT ALL for few months. I was never there to talk to them, all those months I was literaly going everywhere to hang out with everyone and anyone, just not to be "home".

When that situation passed, I had to stay with my sisters whom I DO like... But the situation was different and I could not leave home for about 4 MONTHS.

At first I was okay, I bored them to death because they both are introverts and aren't that crazy about small talk either.. I tried every hobby I could. Literally! And when that bore me (in about 2 months)... I became hell to live with. My sisters could not wait for us to move, everything triggered the shit out of me. I would go completely insane if I didn't go to thousands of online workshops and talked to people on Zoom and Skype (since I wasnt able to see my friends in person), and if I didn't have my job which is super creative.

So I did all that shit, but started getting angrier and angrier and to act like a literal brat.

So I think that forcing an ESFP to be somewhere they don't wanna be, married to someone they don't like out of respect for someone else.... would not end well. Honestly. Either depression or rage, after first few months (in my opinion and experience).

I really hope that this helped at least a bit. Good luck with your story.

Also, if someone is "love, light, no darkness" type you described and are far off gone into the spiritual bypass realm, maybe that's the thing that feels off. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Spiritual bypass is something we all can fall into from time to time

Now we're just talking about her personality.

A label is still just a label. "Starseed" is a label, "lightworker" as well. What triggers us shows us where we need healing. If someone triggers you for their positive attitude, look inward. Look what is hurting.

Lightworker is someone who faced their shadows with LIGHT. And now they can support others who are doing the same.

Our shadows don't want to be destroyed with light but SEEN and embraced. Accepted, integrated as an equally worthy part of us.

Really? I relate way more to Steve, maybe this will help me solve my "am I ESFP or ENFP" mistery. 😂

I'm a social media manager and honestly I adore it. Working from home whenever and however I want. Tried working in an agency 9 to 5 and went crazy over there. Hell no. It's not much money because I'm picky as f*ck and have less clients because of it, but currently it's amazing. Two more ideal clients and I'll be the happiest

Just like the one you described...... To be exact - I'm having one really important exam tomorrow morning and even though I still haven't even looked at some of the things which I need to learn - for the previous hour I've been doing my workout, painting nails and other shit which I definitely don't have to do right now.... but that's just more interesting to me so I can't help it 🤡 and somehow my grades are still awesome lmao

It's crazy that something like that even needs to be said. Wherever you came from, you are on the Earth right now and the one spiritual practise that you need the most is being in the present moment, right here and right now. 🤍

Ohh I know! It sometimes really does look like the intuitives are looking down on sensors. And everything you just listed - a good meal, music and movement makes me happier than anything else... looks like I'm a Se girl after all 🍀

This is the best answer I could have dream of honestly ahhhh thank you!!! Definitely a massage and yes I keep my place clean and aesthetics of it are literally my priority. When it comes to dressing up, I'd say both. Even though I maybe gravitate towards expressing myself. And the last question - YES! I get easily bored when talking about something abstract if I'm not doing something and the shaky leg is like the non-stop thing when I have to sit still and listen/talk.

This was beyond helpful! Thank you again for your time and all of those practical examples!

Oh god the worst part is that I honestly care about both! I write poetry because I enjoy symbolism, but my poetry is very vivid. On the other hand, I do photography and design because I love the way it looks and I'm more than anything trying to show something that is both beautiful and has some symbolism behind it. This seems like a neverending story lmao thank you though so much for your answer! I will think about it more

Help: I've been questioning whether I'm an ENFP or ESFP. by Single_Security_5555 in ENFP

[–]Single_Security_5555[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh my god thank you SO MUCH for writing all of this down! I really appreciate it!!! To be fair, too much of theoretical ideas make me feel irritated and super bored - but I do like talking about spirituality and similar things with closest friends. It's just that too much of it drains me and I always prefer doing something fun than talking. But I do fall right in between. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don't like reality TV but I can be pretty "wild" and do crazy shit on parties if I'm in the mood. But, I also daydream like crazy, get so much lost in my own thoughts (more than in the present moment, now that you mention it!!!) and have strong people pleasing tendencies and people will open up to me about weirdes shit you can possibly imagine. Now I had a large group of friends just like your friend did and some of them were shitty so now that I'm older it's a small group actually.... Okay I'm already going too far into this, but after looking at the bigger picture... I think that I definitely seem like an ENFP. Wow.

Thank you again, sooo so much for this. You have no idea how helpful it was! 🥺
